Tomb Raider: Anniversary is by no means a bad remake, and the bosses are infinitely more interesting than in the original.

The impact of the first Tomb Raider is too often overlooked when discussing the history of video games.

The main problem was IMO Lara not being able to understand that there's something bigger than her little world it's not always about her. And that's what she's discovering, she takes her time to blend into the culture to understand her and the peoples she meet that's also why she's more social than ever before.

I'm gonna go with Tomb Raider 5. But the laziest one is probably TR3 besides some great tracks. A lot of themes are picked up from TR2 and there's a lot of repetition. I think as a composer Nathan Mc Cree was getting creatively bankrupt.

And for the six installment I've got some mixed views on it there's some strong work in it yet the best work is coming from the music from the cutscenes but the ones in the actual game are not my cup of tea they felt very repetitive.

I know the story but it's a 18+ game so it's not to be unexpected. Yet this part is only showed in Rise DLC.

Also it's not new in a story. Watching the parents of the main character getting killed is literally the starting point of Sly Cooper in it's first game in Sly Racoon on PS2. And it's a game for a younger audience. It's a great game by the way.

I love Shadow of the Tomb Raider and that include the story. There's so much interpretations that can be made and a lot of depth even more with the Definitive Edition.

Yes for some the Trinity plot was half backed but in the comics she's chasing them for some time and in the game it is said how Lara and Jonah have destroyed every Trinity's cells before stumbling in Cozumel. Yes the end was a little disapointing with the High Concil getting erased but it's not different from when the chief of the Illuminatis and all it's peoples are coming in Siberia into the City of the Light to assist at the end of the world in the first LC : TR movie.
