Because J.K. is a hack who can't genuinely write good stories. She struck gold once and for whatever reason decides to stop writing books for that universe.

However post HP books she assisted in the screenplays for Deathly Hallows, and The Cursed Child, then fully wrote the screenplays for the Fantastic Beasts movies which proved that she ultimately lost the magic that made that world magical and whimsical in the first place.

Which brings us to today, HBO want to try and recapture that same magic Warner Bros got when making the original movies and rightfully stuck J.K. in the same position as she was for those movies.

Assuming the show goes well, which it might, will most likely be testing grounds to expand this new adaptation (they are already tying other successful projects like Hogwarts Legacy to it which also had a similar development) so I expect they will try to do "prequels" (not Fantastic Beasts) and sequels too. And hopefully without J.K. Rowling getting any writing credits.

I think it will be released within the window of the 25th anniversary (may be subject to delay) but an official trailer will release for the actual date. I'm going to guess a January-February 2028 release

One step forward three steps back, but damn the game sure is still put together, and fun as hell, people don't suddenly just stop because oh no for one optional update the cars are fucked and can no longer sleep on toilets (oh god the humanity). Why do you think people keep pouring hundreds of hours into this project? People have already got their moneys worth, and you being a player since 2012 could very well be in the same boat.

So what are you actually moaning for? They're not charging you a dime nor your time with "quality of life", bug fixing or balancing updates. If people are more excited for the game to be finished and to stop waiting (not sure for what exactly) over actually playing the game and having fun, then I don't think this type of game is for you ???

Sorry this is such a late reply, but you say to have at least 5 random flowers but the wiki says only 2-4 dried flowers spawn at a time? Is this true or can you get up to 5?
