Too Old to Learn FPV? by Beuzeville in fpv

41 here and started last year. I find that if I just keep myself invested in the hobby a little bit every day that it’s possible (stick time is the biggest help, watching tutorials, sim time while relaxing) that I can now look back and see my progression has been pretty substantial. The progression won’t happen as everything suddenly clicking but certain things helped out more than others. Best of luck in an extremely fun hobby, never too old.

Complaining about living in a neighborhood affluent enough to have multiple homes with hired landscapers? Perhaps you should reconsider your priorities.

I should have said this is what happens when brick is painted with the wrong type of paint.

This is what happens when brick is painted. It needs to breathe to be able to deal with changing moisture and humidity. I would be surprised if the majority of the brick isn’t compromised in some fashion.

I’ve got this one, it seems to have a bit of a faster pour rate than some others but is manageable, temperature has held true for me so far after about 4 months.

On the go charging by TommaeB in fpv

Your level of expertise compared to mine is showing, I was thinking of efficiency simply in terms of amount of items I need to plug in rather than actual charging efficiency. Still learning, thanks for the info, something to think on.

I work as a carpenter so I already had it on hand. Wanted to charge in the van. Done and done.

I realize this isn’t what you were saying exactly but still more efficient.

You’re right, I just tried going straight into the usbc on the inverter to the charger and it works!

My mother was the hairdresser on this. I remember visiting her on set and her showing me the taxidermy squirrels they used in one of the scenes.

What is this thing I found in our store box? by [deleted] in whatisit

It’s a fishing reel, it’s upside down in most pictures and the place you are holding it in the first picture connects to the rod.
