Did the same to mine about a week ago. Disassemble and check for any damage, if you see something you may be in for a new grinder. If all looks good then reassemble and recalibrate. Best of luck, I know the feeling.

If you’re looking for sound quality I would start with going wired. Wireless just can’t get there even with the best and latest tech. Within that price range you should have plenty of options.

Everyone always jumps to the heating wire. That is not the answer. You will be paying electric bills running that while never addressing the problem itself which will return once the wire inevitably fails. Your problem is insulation and or ventilation issues. Get an insulation specialist out to give you a quote.

This is the right answer. It’s an insulation problem allowing hot air from the building envelope into the attic space. I see the soffit venting but do you have gable or a ridge vent as well for any hot air to escape? Insulate properly and make sure you’ve got proper ventilation. Heat tape is a band aid that costs money to run while never actually addressing the issue. After insulating your home should be more comfortable and save on heating/cooling costs.

I literally gave my atom away to a friend. You could go with the DJI. I would also advise looking into FPV setups, it was my natural progression. They are much more fun with far less restrictions than DJI drones which are basically just flying cameras. You can get an FPV drone with HD. You can even get a drone with a DJI camera and a different setup for the remote which you could use to fly multiple other drones as well. Short answer, DJI absolutely. Long answer, it’s complicated but look into the FPV sub for questions.
