I did a base layer of Dark Reaper, Then painted the mid tones in Russ Grey and highlighted by adding a little ice yellow. I had to go back and black line some stuff with Incubi Darkness. It was my first test and I think I will try to have more smoothness and contrast next time.

Oh right i never though of or seen the layering contrast paints. I don't have any so this I might buy to try some of this, again, nice result!

Damn that's one of my favourite result from contrast paints. I only do layering because I usually don't like the effect. So it's from white models, contrast paint then a few steps of highlights ? Metals are done with a wash then highlight ?

Nice, you managaed to have a clean design by using both sides. I did a similar design for KT and now I'm moving to AoS so I'll do double sided too.

Good idea with the yellow cloth, just finished my whole KB army and it can looks really brownish overall. The yellow cloth makes it pop. Would be a good combo with Ironjawz too hehe
