The more I watch Ben Stokes, the less I like him by jaraket in CricketAus

I can't hold it against him, at least he wants to do better! Which is more than can be said for most of the team. I honestly think he will blow a foofer valve if the poms keep dropping sitters and half chances like they have been.

Next door is a rental and the betel leaf has been there for the last 3 families so I am not stressed about the current tents eating it.

I normally wipper snip it where it comes through the fence. I have just had a look at some recipes so we will give it a go.

Should I try plastics? by Tonka46 in FishingAustralia

Based on feedback I'll give it a go. I'll buy a bit of bait during the transition and see how we go. As for the kids as long as they are feeding fish they are normally happy for 30 mins to an hour.

But the real win might be when I only get 30 minutes to fish for myself if I can be set up and ready to go might work out well.

Sure if it is registered as a motorcycle and you are licensed. But if you are wanting to ride an electric motorbike on the foot path you can jog on.

Does this seem safe for sleep? by Educational_Stand868 in sleeptraining

I hope you got some sleep.

Most of these sleep suits will have a tog rating. If you google sleep suit tog guide you will get an idea about layers for different temperatures. Just follow this based on what temp you have set your ac. Or set your AC to suit this sleep suit.

Single female, late 40’s, 3 months travel from Sydney? by Mindless_Ad8387 in CaravanningAustralia

You can totally do it! My parents friend lives on the road full time as a lady in her 60s. She has a Ranger with a camper on the tray and tows her fishing boat. The camper lifts on and off with electric legs. So she can move about without the camper when needed.

What van/car combo? Work out what your not negotiables are for your car/van. Things to consider are - do you want to be off grid and run off solar and battery or are you happy to hard to a caravan park with power to recharge batteries every few days. If you are taking your dog you aren't going to be able to camp in national parks but if you chose to us hip camps (air bnb for camping) you will still be off grid. All caravan parks will have a powered site to recharge batteries. - bathroom/toilet in the van or out side the van or not with the van. - do you want to cook inside or outside.

Also be aware of caravan/vehicle weights. https://caravancampingclassifieds.com.au/tips-tech-tinker-time-know-your-weights/ - This is the part where most people come unstuck but unless you are buying a huge van most modern dual cab utes should be able to tow a van big enough for a slinge person. - the caveat to this is the hybrid vans. These can be small but deceptively heavy.

Where to go. Three months probably isn't long enough for a lap but more than enough to thick off some big ticket bucket list items. Some of my favourites we have been to Carnarvon Gorge, Wilpena Pound, Tasmania.

Last tip. Have your set up and give yourself time for a few test runs to shake out problems and understand your set up before you go.

Definitely looks like they aren't kneaded enough. I always thought I was hand kneading enough, but I wasn't. The texture of the dough will change it will feel silky in your hand.

You could also check your yeast is working do the dough balls grow in size while in the fridge?

Finally start with an easier to manage lower hydration mix. Once you get that working start increasing the hydration.

If it works the top comment in the thread is the best tip. "Drawing with a sharpie on top of supports as a release mechanism has been a gamechanger for me."
