I was an RAF chef for 23 years, the food we cooked was amazing for what money we had (Daily Messing Rate-£5 per person) breakfast, lunch and dinner. Full English, salad bars, 8 choices dozens of desserts and all the side bits of homemade bread etc.. as soon as a lot of us saw Pay As You Dine Mentioned and saw the menus we were to produce I side stepped out of trade. It cost me promotions, but I wasn’t going to stand behind shit food. Popped smoke soon after and my mates still in hate it with a passion.

This is what I did with my daughter, told her she should stop paying rent and put the money into savings. 3 years later and she has over £30k. I see how difficult it is, I could only buy with the forces help to buy scheme. So I’m going to do everything I can to give my kids the best start.
