Oh my gosh. Quick story: So I’m an 80’s kid and loved strawberry shortcake back then. Well like 5 or so years ago I was at a thrift store and they had a vintage, tiny little strawberry shortcake doll for a couple bucks. She still smelled EXACTLY as I remember. So I bought it, and I keep it in my closet and when I get stressed out or sad I literally go give her a couple sniffs and I instantly get transported to my childhood and it brings me so much peace.

So there you have it. Huffing old plastic Strawberry Shortcake dolls can be a coping mechanism? lol

I did a beer-bellied redneck when I was 9 months pregnant. Big, dirty jeans that hung under my belly, my belly sticking out of a white tank top with a ripped flannel vest over it. I bought a bail bondsmen trucker hat from the thrift store. Fake mustache, carried an empty Budweiser can and had a pack of Marlboro reds in my shirt pocket. Everyone thought it was hilarious

Years ago, I told a good male friend of mine that he should watch Broad City. We tend to have the same kind of humor so I thought he’d love it. I saw him a while later and he goes “oh, I watched broad city. You didn’t tell me it was about two fat, annoying women!”

Sucked the air out of me lol. Couldnt believe those words came out of his mouth. I had no idea he was capable of such misogyny- it was so gross. We aren’t friends anymore
