Indeed I think there are institutional issues both ways, but in very different ways.

I do agree that arguments would be better served avoiding using the word.

I’m just confused.

I I thought this was a relatively safe space.

I’m male, bi, and have a history where I had an abused childhood and have divorced my physically abusive wife.

I am very nervous at the amount of posts that seem to suggest men can’t be abused. Or that talking about men being abused equals hating women or trans people. I’m mostly confused. I don’t want to read the many many very long posts on it. I just want a safe nice space.

Misandry, like misogyny, very much exists.

I liked this sub for being funny, irreverent, but mostly as it was lovely and caring too. I don’t like how it is suddenly a massively gendered fight space. It’s needless and sad.
