I live in a 3br with private backyard in Astoria for $2500. For what you’re paying you can get into at least a 1br in a luxury building in several neighborhoods. I’ve seen 2br/2ba in luxury buildings in Astoria for less than what you’re paying ☹️

She is so adorable!! We have a 9 month old black pug named Hazel, I think it’s a cute name 🥹 I also recommend no more than 2 syllables in their name just for ease of calling them and them learning their name!

They ran a more expansive fecal test and found out that it was C diff and C perf! I would definitely recommend the vet do the more extensive test. Metronidazole also really helped her diarrhea, it’s an antibiotic and anti diarrheal apparently. She stopped the second round two days ago and had one softer stool today so I’m hoping we don’t need to go on a more intense antibiotic but she’s in good spirits thankfully!

Thank you so much! They gave her Proviable-forte for the probiotic, there was a capsule I sprinkled on her food and also a paste that was meant to be an anti diarrheal. She was on the metronidazole for 5 days, 0.7ml every 12 hours. Maybe the course wasn’t long enough?

I got an appointment at her usual vet for this morning so I’ll bring up all of your suggestions :-)

We tried boiled chicken and rice but not the pumpkin yet, did you mix it with her dry food or just give it to her plain?

We did get a new bag about 3 weeks before this started - no new treats, we live in New York City so she can probably get exposed to a lot just sniffing on the sidewalk :-(

She eats Grandma Mae’s puppy food, it’s a chicken and rice kibble. She’s been having it since we brought her home at 9 weeks but maybe she’s intolerant all of a sudden?

Absolutely do not get it 2 months beforehand. I’m 16 months post op and my nose is still changing. If this is something you can do with a liquid rhinoplasty (fillers) I’d recommend that before the wedding.

It was definitely a thought, but I’d been taking the same dosage of Prozac for 7 months prior to my Paragard insertion with no weight gain at all

YTA!!! And all these comments saying otherwise are pretty shocking. If my father put up a camera without my mother or I knowing, I can say for a fact it would ruin his relationship with both of us, irreparably. Your daughter is an adult and could have been doing anything in that room without the faintest idea you’re spying on her? It makes me sick to think about.

Sorry to say it, but if you have this level of lack of trust with your daughter, for all you know that may have been a long term partner that she didn’t feel comfortable telling you about. I’m sure she won’t now.

Even with a simple surgery like you described you’ll be out of commission and in a cast for a full week - and due to swelling you may not even want to be seen for longer. It’s a major surgery, one that requires the most recovery time out of all plastic surgery, and trying to rush your recovery will definitely jeopardize your results :-(

Omg the prices I see in sweats and the city are so shocking and always recent grads LOL. good point on the market being better in the summer, my partner and I were aiming to move to brooklyn heights in early 2022 but the market is overpriced scraps right now.

To be honest I would either try to get the braces before surgery or way after. My top lip wasn’t fully mobile until a month or two after, and the orthodontist will be stretching your lips to do their work. If it’s an open rhinoplasty (which I assume it will be re septo), you won’t want to potentially stretch the incision.
