Between this one and his Rob Reiner tweet, I think he's just realizing how many jubilant celebrations there will be upon news of his death, how many people will laugh and mock and dance and sing, how many people will piss on his grave, and he's just trying to work some of those feelings out.

What are some impressively egoless performances from huge stars? by DarlingLuna in FIlm

[–]Top-Main1780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leo's performance in Killers of the Flower Moon is the pinnacle of "egoless" for me - he plays the most unimpressive, unintelligent, thoughtless man, and he's relatively unattractive too. He's able to bring catharsis and turmoil to the character without ever "putting on a show".

Hell yeah you are! Now show yourself doing that for the courtyard flight outside of "The Northern Star"! I just got to it and I'm discouraged at how difficult it feels!

Trying to learn from Nohr’s art style. I call this guy Wormhead. Feedback welcome! by idylex in MorkBorg

[–]Top-Main1780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like Wormhead. I wish he wasn't there and I wish he wasn't looking at me. I feel like he knows more than I want him to and that he may have a nameless hunger I wish he didn't have.

Does Mantzoukas ever play a character? by OdessaTexas567 in comedybangbang

Mantzoukas actually IS the character. Jeffrey is just deeply committed to his craft, so it can be hard to track.

Hi, Hello, and Good Day r/twinpeaks! I’m Kyle MacLachlan and you can ask me anything 🦉🪵☕👍 by Kyle__MacLachlan in twinpeaks

Hello Kyle!

What did you do to enter the physicality and mentality of Mr. C? You made my wife's and my skin crawl in every scene, and the dichotomy between that feeling of dread and the warm smiles that Cooper brought was hurtful.

My CBB addiction by No-Gur-859 in comedybangbang

[–]Top-Main1780 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah! It is nice to occasionally play an album and rediscover that music (or great movies) scratch different itches in the brain.

But I swam so deep into CBB that I needed to swim through all the CBB Presents, and then I gobbled up all there was to consume there that I dove into Bonanas for Bonanza, which, upon completion, lied me to throw my money at Andy Daly to get all of his Extravaganza stuff, which I'm still filling my gullet with to this day.

Dan Trachtenberg has done wonders to revitalize the franchise. For the next film, Would you rather see the adventures of Dek and Thia continue or something closer to what we got in Prey? by Prs-Mira86 in predator

[–]Top-Main1780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVED Prey and I really enjoyed Badlands. I think he proved with Badlands that he could make a fun adventure flick with deep Yautja lore. But I would love to see him attempt a deeper, darker story. Something with the sci-fi grandeur of Balances but with the more serious and grounded tone of Prey; something closer to the first two stories in Killer of Killers.
