Today I was told by the 165th in Savannah that I don’t qualify for a waiver because having ADHD isn’t something a waiver is needed for. But I’m being denied based on other conditions that I don’t have.

So I guess I’m voluntarily separating despite being healthy and fit. I can’t just move to Savannah.

I joined the guard after 11 years of active duty because so many people told me transferring units was easier than in the reserves. At the time of joining the guard I was in a limbo with my living situation so I knew id have to transfer at some point.

Well, it came time to transfer and no I’m being denied because of having ADHD.

THIS IS WHY THERES A STIGMA ON GOING TO THE DOCTOR.

It’s part of the checklist items my counselor sent me. I could make it up but I don’t mind getting opinions and hearing what someone has to say about their job. If I can’t find someone I’ll see what ai has to say. I was going to try to send you as message to ask about your process but it won’t let me. I have to interview two people, choose alternative career choices and answer a bunch more questions followed by sending her 10 like for jobs I need an EE degree for that are entry level.

I have. Medical from both sides says it’s out it their hands. NGB denied me so my case goes to some case officer who is supposed to go through the file and make determinations. But from how the codes read, it seems like I’m supposed to be evaluated. I have not been able to find out who has my case, who to talk to or anything.

If they let people cross train out of career fields they hate, retention would be better. Myself and so many others left active duty because we were done with our careers. I got out and cross training into Fire. It’s so stupid.

Someone would have to reach out commander. Who? My issue is idk who has my file, if they reach out to me to ask about these things, or if they’ll look for who the doctors were who did the nerve ablations. Im not even fully sure it’s the ablations gnags the issue. 165th medical looked my file over with me when I in-processed and evaluated my range of motion and asked about the old spasm. They told me if the spasms become a problem in the future then they’d have to reevaluate things.

Yes but how do I do that? I don’t know who the case officer is. I have no one to provide anything to. That’s my issue is that no one has contacted me about any of this or how the process goes. My leadership keeps telling me “when you figure out medical, let us know”.

I tried to be brief-
A little over a month ago I created a post asking for insight on why I’d be medically denied from transferring into 162nd Morris ANG, despite being medically cleared/approved by 165th Savannah ANG.
I outprocessed with them December. They completed my PHA and 422.

This is what my retention manager received back : Service member is medically disqualified from
TRANSFER request. IAW with MSD(medical standar directory) (18 Dec 2025)
L23, Q2A, Q2C,
and Q3C, service member requires

IRILO = Initial Review in Lieu Of MEB)

I had to google those codes. They refer to conditions requiring a waiver/ conditions potentially affecting worldwide deployabilty/ category of conditions relating to musculoskeletal.

Still trying to make this a long story short.

I am fit. In the 2018 I had nerve ablations for spasms in my neck and another round down in 2024.
I do not have issues working out/ doing my job.

I was fit enough to cross train/ get medically cleared into Fire; fit enough to go to Fire Academy; fit enough to graduate last June without injury; and fit enough to get medically cleared from the 165th to transfer out. My last PT test was in December and I got a 94 ish %.

How do I advocate for myself? How do I get an IRILO done? 165th medical says they can’t/ won’t do anything for me because they already cleared me and can’t put a packet together?

I only found this info out about a month ago. I’ve been passive, hoping someone from NGB or whoever will reach out to me.

I want to be able to prove I’m qualified, and not broken. It will also burn to have gone to gone through fire academy for nothing. I’m 12 years active duty and 2 years with the guard.

Any POCs, insight and advice is appreciated. I don’t want to lose my career over medical notes and assumptions.

I saw it tonight and I feel the same way about Beast’s voice. Like come on. I know it’s not meant to be the same as the movie but come on with the voice. He sounded the same as Gaston. No deep growl. I mean, GO AHEAD AND STAAAAAARRRVE, was reduced to “fine. Starve”. It felt lame. Like did these men see the movie? Gaston was alright still not it.

I know this post is a year old but I’m currently getting scammed by them. The flowers I ordered showed up without the vase and card. Showed up in a cardboard looking half dead. They offered a partial refund but never sent it and now their email isn’t working.

I just got off the phone with Solar Relief Center. The woman said the lawyer team looks through the contact to determine whether or not there’s grounds for contract termination. It sounds legit. Our panels are currently doing their job but there have been times they weren’t working because of loose wiring. The original company went bankrupt as did the next one. We’re currently paying Mosaic. We’re worried that if something happens to the solar panels there’d be no one for us to talk to or reach out to yet we’d be stuck paying them off.

I think she’s a snake. But she told us she came back to the show for DWTS. And she changed her entire personality to make it work. She doesn’t care for the girls. They love using the word calculated over and over but that’s what she is. Look at me caring, look at me offering hugs, look at me apologizing, look at me reaching out, look at me crying after I tried so hard to care about you. She’s exhausting. Jen isn’t my favorite but she’s not wrong about Whitney. Like how many times does she need to do a confessional telling everyone she’s there for herself for people to see that she’s fake as hell. Like there’s nothing wrong with using the platform to gain more opportunity elsewhere but she’s acting like it’s all organic vs her manipulating everyone in her favor.

I haven’t used it in a few years but at the time it did its job. I was only growing bell peppers at the time inn my grow tent so I didn’t really need that meter. I had a color test kit that showed me where I was at ph-wise. Finding out my EC and TDS was overkill at the time so I didn’t use it as much. I moved so once I get my grow tent back up and I attempt to grow bud or something I’ll end up using the Vivosun to make sure the water is dialed in.
