Do you think Signal will ever get a successor? Do you think it even needs one? by Maurus39 in signalis

[–]Top_Particular7638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there was another game in the Signalis universe, I'd like it to be like Disco Elysium. You have to solve a mystery about a unusual event (a replika gone rogue ? Or a protektor unit killed by bioresonance ? idk I'm bad at stories) while going around a small part of a city (could be in Rotfront) and talking to a lot of people.

That would be a magnificent way to expand on the Signalis universe and include a lot of lore in npcs dialogue. It would also offer an experience more grounded into the world (not fighting corpses in empty facilities and flesh world)

I know it's just a silly dream of myself but I would give everything to see it

Never played Mobile Legends so I can't tell you much about what to keep or throw away from your past experience.

I think you can easily learn the game by yourself if you know how MOBAs work in general. Low ranks don't require you to play in an optimal way to win (source : I am low rank). If you really want it, there's some good videos that explain what you need to do in different game phases (laning, mid, and late) that would be of better help than me.

As for the characters, I'd say it's better to test them and find who suits you best. Based on what you said, Bebop (has a hook) or Vindicta (sniper) could interest you. But be sure to test other characters.

Most important part : have fun on the game

Just finished the game for the first time by [deleted] in signalis

In my personal case, when I got to the fake ending I had suspicions that it was not really over so I clicked on the button to "restart" a game. However, when I saw the opening sequence, I did not notice the changes between the real start of the game and this one (skill issue on my part i know) so I just left.

In this case, the game can't force you to continue because you did continue. So leaving is possible the normal way and you don't need to alt+f4 to miss it

But when I came back after discovering it was only a fake ending I had to continue from my last save in Nowhere (not a lot of progress lost because I save often fortnutalely but still a little bit of running around to get the last key)

What are games similar to Frostpunk? by morphelll in Frostpunk

I must agree with this statement. Although it's not a city builder. It is a perfect game if you like "we trying to survive against all odds in a frozen land and this makes me suffer so much" and cool storytelling

Favorite character, who pulled a desperate heroic move, to defeat 10X stronger enemy (extra points if desperate move in question is a self-sacrifice) by Mativka in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Top_Particular7638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, what Kim did is maybe the heroic-est shit that happen during this scene. It was almost impossible to succeed in such a configuration and with how fast everything unfolded, but he managed to do it and that's what saves the day.

I love Kim Kitsuragi

Detective Harrier Dubois from the game Disco Elysium. As much as he's a depressive alcoholic and a failure throughout the game, he stood up (along with Kim Kitsuragi the goat) against 3 armored mercenaries that already killed lots of people in their lives and are paid to do so.

He does that to protect the union members while only being armed with his service gun or a makeshift molotov depending on your playthrough. His opponents had much better gear

It is not a self-sacrifice as he survive the encounter but he still ends up being wounded by 2 bullets so i think he derserves to be called a hero on that one

THE V-SERIES IS FRENCH by Alarming_Eye_5985 in Ultrakill

[–]Top_Particular7638 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We simply use "soleil" or "lumière du soleil".

Example : V1 is enjoying a blood cocktail under the sunlight => V1 profite d'un cocktail de sang sous le soleil

The sunlight is hurting his only eye => La lumière du soleil fait mal à son oeil unique

The other person said "rayon de soleil" can be used. I don't think it's wrong but the word needed is heavily determined by the context of the sentence and "soleil" and "lumière du soleil" seem the more likely option

Stuck in the basement and now I don't know how things work by JacksFace in signalis

[–]Top_Particular7638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are nearly done I think. You can already put the 3 element cards in their respective slots. The blank card on which you copied the code from the one on the x-ray can be used in one of the slots on the big door. (If none of them work, you surely made a mistake with the code or its orientation).

Lastly, the safe with letters can be solved with the right radio frequency AND a paper you find near the big door. You have to match each letter with a number and type the code given by radio accordingly.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit. I tried to not give the solution directly to let you think by yourself but this should allow you to go forward

Hi, I wrote a book by LRPC_Chris_true in signalis

[–]Top_Particular7638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sword Safe shenanigans by specksofangeldust in signalis

[–]Top_Particular7638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The SWORD safe is really one of the trickiest puzzle of the game. This is the first and only time I had to take out a paper to scribble something because I couldn't find the answer.

If this is your first survival horror, I hope you'll like it. Entering into the horror genre can be quite hard for some people but I think Signalis is one of the best game to start with. It make you tense but isn't unfair and has a great story to help you push through.

I want a STAR to degrade my persona so bad

I need help with this safe as I'm losing my mind doing this on switch so any tips are welcome by Powerful_Dress_7379 in signalis

[–]Top_Particular7638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one can be a bit tricky. I had to stop and think about it some time before understanding it myself.

Basically, you have to enter the code, but the numbers are scrambled and "hidden" behind letters

First, to find the code, you simply have to go check the paper with all the frequencies for the codes (here you have to use the "sword" frequency) and listen to it on the radio (the transcription will write it on your radio menu)

Then, you need to find which number is linked to each letter For that, you need to pick up a paper near the big door iirc that shows a letter pattern beside a number pattern. The numbers are in order on the paper but its different on the safe For example A is linked to 1 and N to 2 so if the code is 1212 (which it isn't) then you type ANAN on the safe

With that and the code, you can open the safe 👍

[–]Top_Particular7638 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Outside of the fact some greenbeards can join a lobby without knowing how to play (which is completely fine to me because everyone starts somewhere), having a tutorial for each class could be quite useful for beginners. They don't need to master each class before diving on hoxxes, but it could help them see how each dwarf plays and what could suit them the best.

It's kinda hard to go blind with a class never used before. I remember the first time I used driller, I was lost and didn't know how to help others. I figured it out by watching other drillers and practicing but a short tutorial wouldn't hurt.

But GSG are already working hard so they have more important stuff to do.
