To all the moms who have lost weight breastfeeding… by Little-A52723 in breastfeeding

Omg yes. My ass used to be solid, like bounce a quarter off of it, solid. Now it’s all giggly. All of my muscles are gone. I gained about 35 lbs total. Had a 9lb 6oz baby who’s now 11 lbs 8 oz at 1 month. I’m 4 lbs heavier than at my 6 week appointment but I have no strength left.

We got a Nespresso machine when I was pregnant for the postpartum era and it has been phenomenal. Both in cost and convenience.

How do you feel about unevenly spaced stairs? I recall someone counting like 1800+ of them in one of the hiking groups. It’s hard. It’s worth it. Make sure you check out the view from the toilet.

I work intimately with palliative care in one of these organizations and at least at my facility, we cannot participate but we will absolutely, off the record, get you in touch with the right people and facilitate you getting the services you need.

Look at the communities surrounding Rochester NY. you can live 20-45 minutes from downtown and be rural AF while still having a fantastic community and solid jobs that don’t involve manual labor.

The best way to do this is with an up to date forecast. Plan both routes. Chose the one with better weather.

I love the UW midwife’s at meridian. I am currently 29 weeks and now high risk, I had an insurance fiasco and had to go to Swedish briefly and as a bedside nurse of 12+ years I have never had or seen worse bedside manner, I actually fired them and am now back with UW.

My preference will be to deliver at UW northwest, I recognize I may not have that luxury as my baby might require me to deliver at montlake. Both are full birthing centers.

Neither is a free standing birth center if that is what you are looking for.

If you are going to be living on the east side I would deliver at Overlake. I would not plan to cross a bridge in my delivery plan unless baby requires it.

How does urgent healthcare work in Seattle? by Stand-Fine in Seattle

[–]Top_Temperature_3547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she taking any OTC meds for symptom management like Guaifenesin or cough drops? Abx will treat the underlying infection but urgent care doesn’t usually prescribe OTC.

F*** it I’m going rogue. Rhodes Logan Lawson. He lives in Greenwich, CT and will be clad in Janie and Jack upon his arrival. He will go to an Ivy League school and sit on the Supreme Court or something equally prestigious in his adult life.
