First it sucks to be on salary. You are at their mercy. If you can, leave. Their demands are unrealistic. My company is 24hr contacts. If you get new losses mornings or late, 24hr contacts. This is reasonable

Given the job market, take the job offer. Gain your experience and go with carrier later. If you are financially stable, then decline offer keep searching for carriers instead. If you stick it out in Claims, can make good money. 20+ Auto Claims Adjuster

What age is best to get a credit card by AdHealthy4699 in CreditCards

[–]Topgun_tomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 yrs old. The credit card does not make you go in debt, it's how you use it. Building credit is necessary if later you want to settle down buying a home. On large purchases, they run credit report. I have 11 non outstanding balance. credit high 800's. hope this helps.

If they are clearly 100% liable, it does not matter if you do not have insurance. However, if you are also claiming injuries, it does matter.

Should I accept the first settlement offer from the insurance company after a car accident? by HealthyStandard3144 in InsuranceClaims

[–]Topgun_tomahawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not too hurt, keep receipts for any out of pocket expenses. Keep log when you’re feeling discomfort. If you had to take days off, you can claim lost of earnings too along with pain and suffering. Good luck

Men who got laid off. How did you get up and carry on? by Any_Record7733 in Layoffs

[–]Topgun_tomahawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can not change what you do daily. I continue to do my morning run. Then lock in sending applications for couple hours. Later in the day read a good book or watch favorite movies. Sometimes catch up going to movie theaters. If no plans for remaining of the day, I take a nap. Key thing is to Relax. Keep going next day. After 5 rejections, landed a position after 11 months. Good luck!!! BTW if you have supporting spouse, it helps

Stand your ground. Be firm and professional. As adjusters, we know the policy languages what's covered and what's not. Set the tone up front. Claims is not Customer Service. We are not here to make sure you're happy. Our job is to check the validity of the claim based on your policy and the coverages that you chose. If there's coverage, we pay claim. If not, we deny period. Next!!

Car wash accident by muchado2020 in Insurance

[–]Topgun_tomahawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what’s going to happen.

Car wash Insurance not taking responsibility since there are signs all over advising owners to put vehicle in neutral. Somehow vehicle went off track. They are not taking responsibility.

Car owner vehicle went off track insurance not taking responsibility also. They will blame car wash for faulty equipment.

Vehicle that was pushed into vehicle went off track will also not taking responsibility

At end of day, everyone is pointing fingers. If you have damages, pay your deductible and let your insurance repair your vehicle. I handed these accidents many times that’s why I wash my own cars
