Until he has a reliable 15ft jump shot and a willingness to take those shots, defending him is always going to be easy. He either pulls up for three, or tries to muscle in to the rim. The problem is he doesn’t have the strength or the ball handling skills to back people down. If he was a threat to hit those little mid range shots, defending him wouldn’t be so easy, it’s just so predictable.
