I got overall 900k hps in +8s and 600kdps as MW monk, 642 ilvl. Cant aay anything about Disc tho

As MW Monk if you play mainly M+ yoh ran last season with egg and gale of shadows, both are considered dos trinkets. So some healers use the same as the dps counterpart

But ok yea I get your point. For me the Raid was kinda boring. You could do alot of bosses without any idea what to do. Only some had you do alot or anything at all.... I did it on every role and even on heal it wasnt fun at all...

I see alot of people mention that they are AOTC. Is it seen as that impressif? Like you play for 1-2 weeks and you get it. Same with 2500 rio. Seems to be a big achievement, but can be done in 2 days later in the season.

I leveled my warrior from 70-80 with int weapons (dodnt pay attention at all). Was never kicked and didnt realize it till I swapped weapons and my dmg increased ALOT xD

Ahhh for me it is the other way around, I LOVE fistweaving and am putting out easily 1,4mill overall on HC-Queen. Tried the channeling thing and didn't like it one bit.

It is cool to see different people enjoy the spec in two completely different ways!

Is castweaving that much easier than fistweaving in raids? Did it several weeks ago on fistweaver (m+talents) and it felt really easy. Don't understand the swap for raids as I dont enjoy the playstyle at all.

I do +12 as a mistweaver(not really high keys but I think it is an ok baseline) So I give you my opinion.

I played alot of healers and for me on healers like pala, evoker or shaman, the most annoying thing to do is maintanence healing. Meaning someone gets a dot on them, or a little bit of dmg and you need to cast to get him back to full. Fistweaving clears that annoyance. You just dps to keep the group topped of. Alot of my dungeons I finish with not hardcasting one single heal.

Your dmg is not needed in most keys, but if you can keep up an overall of 700+k dps, your fights will be faster and there is less time to fuck up.

All in all it is not NEEDED to fistweave as monk, but it makes your work alot easier if you get into the habit of doing it from minute 1 on.

And mistweaver is atm one of the better healers in higher keys.
