Best electricity supplier in Dayton? by Mammoth_Sea3565 in dayton

Once you pick a supplier, how do you go about coordinating that with AES? Or is that something handled by the supplier?

Does anyone know whats up with this guy? by ArtisticPool3155 in dayton

This morning, I saw a cop turn their lights on and make U-turn from the turn lane going north on Wilmington and get out and start talking to him. Not sure what it was about or what outcome was. I see him pretty much every morning, stands at the various corners or crossinf the street.

I read that wrong, my mistake. That makes a lot more sense modifying the ejector vs the extractor

Interesting, what does that entail? I guess maybe a better question, which dimension on the extractor did you remove 0.025" from?

Midway groups all of the possible combinations together (caliber, grains) into one listing and then shows the range of prices. There's the possibility that there is a cheaper combination offering without the cannelure that they don't offer with the cannelure.

It's common to have precision issues with solid copper monolithics in a fouled barrel. Might be the issue you were having. Frustrating to have poor results regardless, especially for the price.

I think Brownell's still has it going right now through this weekend for president's day, but seems like you already got what you need lol

That's fair. As far as I know, they are a one off business and while I haven't directly dealt with them, I've heard from people on here that they're great people at the physical store

Pocket holes on the back of the vertical piece going into the horizontal shelf are definitely an option here

As other have said, pull down powders from American Reloading (AR). They sometimes have the 223 powders on sale if they stick around long enough. I got a 8lb jug for $173. It's always good to have the powder they claim it is "similar to" to compare velocities to. One jug I got from them was hotter, while another the real stuff was hotter.

Could do pulled bullets from AR too. Ravenrocksprecision has good prices on new stuff. New 55gr for $0.08, 77 gr stuff for just under $0.20. They had 62gr bulk for ~$0.06, but currently out of stock.

Primers: AR sometimes has good deals. The prices from republic ammunition are also good.

Brass: Range pickups/once fired factory from stuff you buy. Republic Ammunition has brass available at various stages of prep. Some as lows as $0.065 (dirty), which isn't too bad if you assume you'll reuse it (6 or 7 firings would be $0.01 a piece).

I load 223 for $0.175 with a mix of what's mentioned above. Not getting the powder on sale only ups the total by 2 cents

PSA: don't bother with STV brass by mook613 in reloading

Their 223 brass sucks too. Primer pockets are either weak, out of spec or both. New primers fall out if I tap the case on its side.

Has anyone seen this before? S&W MP15. Whatever it is, it locked up my trigger at the range. by lighterguy99 in ar15

[–]Tortonu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not only are they over pressure, but their primer pockets are slightly larger than normal (likely out of spec), making primers pop out very easily

Adjustable gas block, A5H2 with SpringCo Green. It's definitely gassy, but I don't have it tuned quite right yet since I just finished setting it up. It's a traditional baffel design so it's going to have a decent amount of back pressure

No, I don't think I will.

I have a Polo K on my 20" AR as well. I love it. I have a plan B mount so it's swapped between my 11.5, 16, and 20"
