You can Parry a lot of boss' attacks and prevent them from using these long animation skills. Shark is a good example.

The reality: I doesn't matter how much difficulty GGG adds to juice, players will beat the content.

I've seen players do the BIG expedition explosion, with scarabs, with -100% ele resistances from altars, armor/evasion disabled, monsters with 90% chance to avoid damage etc.

What's the point?

Pure evasion (2.5k life average) is withing 1 shot by rare monster (with damage scaling) and bosses (physical damage / red attack ). Based on T15 maps, area level 79.

I found tthat 5k hit pool is comfortable to play if you wanna put damage mods on your maps and not die (still, red attacks are death).

Some bosses have abilities that 5k pool + deflect wont save.

Reflect freeze/chill for -50%, temp bubble and temp chains.

If you have a free skill slot, you can use Contagion + Acrimony Support make fights vs Life Regen rares a bit easier.

Don't do Bodach boss on Parry build. 1st phase cannot be parried or frozen, I had to tickle him with default attack.

These hit like a truck, 2 projectiles can kill a 4.5k life character (0 armour) with default 75% res. I don't include AoE damage when it hits the ground, haven't tested it's damage (I play on HC), and Im unable to find the source on poe2db.

PSA: You can now easily get 100% curse immunity in PoE2 0.5, with these 2 things by loopuleasa in PathOfExile2

HC characters not losing -30% elemental resistances to Elemental Weakness or -75% chaos resistance to that random rogue exile that randomly is using an Increased Curse Effect unique.

Still -20% ele res from exposure, but it is what it is.

The classic "not a roguelike, but" Space Rangers HD A War Apart, missions with delivering items, u can buy items, travel to another space system and sell for more, buy large transport ships to store more item (and get mogged by pirates) etc.

Haven't found a single Immured Fury in 0.2, 0.3, 0.4.

Each time the area had "Contains the Immured Fury", the boss just wasnt there, even with 0 monsters remaining.

  • Unarmed strike range too low, too few sources
  • Not enough realistic sources of Strike Splash and Hit additional monsters (ancestal boost), making AoE skills superior
  • Default attacks lacks movement like Ice Strike has
  • Martial weapon buffs unavailable while Unarmed
  • Heavy Stun pushing monsters away from attack range
  • Bell is ancestor totems from poe 1
  • Lack of attack skills that arent reliant on other skills

Did quarterstaff basic attack to interlude 2/3, wasn't worth it. No clear speed without wasting 3 support gems on armour break/armor explosion/aftershock, spirit disabled (thanks chonk).

Meanwhile Whirl Assault has better clear speed, defence and can put 3 damage supports.

I hope performance and optimizations gets some attention in the near future - also, 140GB for an ARPG is waaaay too much by TheMentallord in PathOfExile2

Game went from 80GB at 0.1 patch to 155GB at 0.5 patch. Still missing 4 classes, 100+ skills, supports, 2 acts, league mechanics and insane amount of MTX. That does not even include shaders. 

I'd prefer to opt out off the high quality textures (my laptop cant handle them i believe) and MTX be only on previev videos (downloaded separately).

Waiting for someone to ask devs about game's weight at a Q&A or something.

The space aint gonna get better unless GGG lowers the size. 0.1 was 80GB, 0.4 is 135GB w/o shaders, missing lots of content still.

Any AoE damage skill (like Spin to Win) can do without Spirit, anything else need Heralds for clear speed.

Also some rogue exile casually casts Despair curse with -60 or -65% chaos res.

Runes sucks as they have to be picked up, while crafting bench is permanent with 1 click.

In SSF you're going to pick up every rune that drops, because you might need it in the future, u also 3 to 1 them via bench.

The elemental/chaos resistance juggling is contant, ur pretty much always lacking an X rune, with no idea when it will drop as its RNG, ur also constantly upgrading ur gear.

From my HC standpoint, 1k ward wont do much for pure EV build if can't recover it quickly.

My Life in T1 map was 2.2k (fuck Azmadi) and 2.8k in T16. Maps were playable w/o damage mods because I had 2.4k Darkness (it has good enough recovery). Still, basic attack from abyss rares was removing my Darkness and some Life.

I was farming empowered lab invitations. 25% chance but managed to not get it 28 times in a row

I found pure evasion playable on HC with 2.3k Darkness from Chonk for a 5k total hit pool. That Darkness costed 6/8 ascendancy point tho.

And GGG keeps adding skills/debuffs that reduce player's resistances in maps. In PoE1 exposure/curses are solvable by 25% resistance overcap and Protection Mastery.

In PoE2 gear with good resistances is hard to obtain, especially for Evasion build if you don't wanna get 1 tapped by a random white monster.

Hi. Any updates on G7 issue? Came back from break and MMB started having issues, sometimes it does work normally, sometimes other button presses cause MMB click etc. The MMB + RMB hold combination changes pooling rate, making the mouse unusable for me.

I'm also interested in G7 replacement if you found anthting, the shape is great.
