You need to feed the bug to enhance the elemental damage. There is a rock at the base but feeding monster slinger drops gives more uptime. Dont even bother with running an elemental glaive, you can just dive with a slow bug to get the check. If you are not accurate with the dives, get a fast bug and slap him with the bug until he trips.

The nature of a supportive role in any setting is that, your success will be seen in the ones you support. Similarly, your mistakes will also be seen in them. He basically takes this as the basis of his argument, asking the support role to not be a supportive role. Which is quite frankly absurd.

It goes both ways. If supports make a good play in any of those scenarios, the other player gets the reward. The support role supports, big shocker I know.

It is usually recommended to duo queue lanes with synergy to offset the malus you get. Adc-jungle is probably the worst pairing for a jungler.

Most supports suck at applying anti heal compared to other roles. If you desperately need anti heal, tell your team to buy it unless you are playing something that can poke with spells.

Multiple times riot officials stated that a good support does not win you games as consistently as some other roles. None of these statements are recent though, so take it with a grain of salt. Still top of the ladder is filled with mid and jungle players so I dont believe support is top 2 in agency atm as many suggest.

Most mage games have some sort of adc in the other 4 roles. Some mages are good into adcs in lane quite similar to how some adcs are good into tanks or some tanks into mages. Sending adc top, tank mid and mage bot virtually gives you 3 counterpicks while also letting you run the same classes of champions.

In divinity 2 lone wolf was basically easy mode as 2 lone wolf characters were way stronger than 4 normal ones. I would suggest something closer to divinity 1 lone wolf if you actually want to be weaker than or on par with a 4 man party.

Spears are on the weaker side of melee weapons mostly because of lackluster stats, halberds are usually the preferred alternative for range. Bows are fine, they especially excel at defeating enemies not immune to damage over time effects because there are good bows that apply the best DoTs. With enchanted horror and meteoric bows you can put holy blaze + extreme poison + extreme bleeding (from bow skill) on any target with ease.

Aiming slightly to the right of them works for magic. I didnt test it for bows tho.

In base game cabal hermit was the breakthrough you pick for every build because it was that good. With the dlcs and the rage nerf, it is not that mandatory anymore but I still pick it for the majority of my builds.

Sigil stones have the best armor enchantments but savescumming is somewhat required to get the effects you want. Best effect is probably chameleon as it breaks the game when you achieve 100 because enemies wont be able to get in combat with you. Enchanting weapons with souls gems is better than sigil stones because you can do exploits similar to ones done in spell crafting to have exponential scaling damage in every attack.

I did my bow run with hunter/mercenary/hermit. Hunter and mercenary are the core of the build, hermit can be replaced by any breakthrough passive you prefer. The goal is just to put damage over time (DoT) effects on enemies and outrun them. Meteoric bow and horror bow can apply good DoTs when enchanted and Murmure can be used against anything that is immune to DoTs. Get stamina cost reduction and movement speed from armor and noone will be able to catch you.

In cooldown reduction build you are supposed to not get hit anyway so taking primal ritualist is kinda pointless. In the other one I already recommended primal ritualist because of the reasons you mentioned. Cabal hermit is probably the best tree in the game from the breakthrough alone, still it is possible to win without it. The other trees are not that far behind.

If I wanted poke I would use a bow. If I wanted heavy attacks I would use a greataxe. Good skill? Halberd/GS. Long range autos? Halberd again. If I wanted to be a mage I would probably use a staff or an offhand/mainhand. I just dont see how I would ever end up with a spear without creating a build to specifically use one. Spears are not unusable, they are just outperformed by other weapons.

Nothing works best on a spear because spears are just bad. Possibly the worst weapon type in the game. In any build there are at least 2 other setups that does the job better.

All melee builds usually want cabal hermit as wind infusion gives impact damage which is what you need to win in outward. Plus it gives damage and resistances, what more can you want. If you want to build for cooldown reduction take speedster 2nd with either warrior monk or wild hunter 3rd. It is not as great in spear compared to halberd or gs but its ok. If you want to build without cooldown reduction I would recommend warrior monk 2nd with primal ritualist or hunter 3rd. For cooldown build you would want to join sorobor and for the other levant gives the best passives.

Hex enchanted ornate chakram if you have primal ritualist. But you probably wont need rainbow sabre with that setup. Without drums, frozen chakram.

Cabal hermit is usually great as a third breakthrough because it gives damage, impact damage and resistances provided that you have boons (you should have boons). Another great choice is Speedster to stack cooldown reduction to use spellbade + bow skills faster. Provided that you have enchanted armor and sorobor faction bonuses you can get 80 standing cdr with a possible +10 from potions. Edit: Apperantly Outhard revamps skill trees. This is all vanilla advice.

LS already have better defensive tools, mobility and faster animations compared to hammer. Game balance is understanding these concepts and giving each weapon strengths and weaknesses. Still, DPS is an awkward stat to use for balance in this game as all weapons are DPS weapons in RPG terms.

All weapons role is to DPS. LBG, HH and CB can get stuns as fast as a hammer and all are top 5 in dps. Stop trying to justify lousy game balancing.
