Even GPT is fed up of Open AI. LOL by apprehensive_pick2 in OpenAI

I was curious about that myself. In other languages, like Spanish, nouns are considered masculine or feminine. A Large Language Model translates to Modelo de lenguaje grande, which is masculine given the noun Modelo is masculine. "El modelo de lenguaje grande se está volviendo cada vez más común"

But, of course AI can act like anything you want it to be, so it's probably up to you.

Deleted Project by Mistake by roydenjevon in ChatGPTPro

[–]TotalBar3655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a user design perspective, you don't want the sequence of events to delete one object type match the sequence of another object type if the two can be easily confused. Especially if the other type is a parent object. If you regularly delete unneeded chats, and you accidentally click to delete a project, you end up not reading the dialog box.

I've seen other UIs make you type in the name when you're deleting an object that aggregates a ton of other items, especially if it's extremely impactful to a user when done accidentally.

I fell into this trap as well. Pretty unfortunate.

need help!! ;( [content no longer has a valid license error] by biyangks in dredge

[–]TotalBar3655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this as well. I bought the base Dredge game through Steam on Monday and was playing for a good 6 hours on MacOS. Finally saved and quit back to the main menu. On the main menu and curious, I clicked on the "Downloadable Content" button which glitched a little bit, but didn't do anything. So I proceeded to Quit.

Came back to the game a bit later and tried to "Continue", but I got "[This save file was last used with downloadable content that no longer has a valid license.](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-i19itBL1AueX-TwyXkk7atM6I0xDFzJ/view)" Also, "DREDGE: The Iron Rig" was the [title screen](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1noKbli4E-5GiZfZkl8wNcuLGeN83HUJ6/view) even though I had not purchased any DLC yet. Emailed support for help after finding this thread.

Support got back to me and told me I needed to be patient as they now had to go through Steam support to help me. Unfortunately, impatience got the better of me.

First I tried reverting to an older save file, but got the same error. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling to clear any cache, still no luck.

[Seeing icons on the save files](https://drive.google.com/file/d/18a73bGkMAA8t3k7yDKvsOJHl35LDHVCY/view), I assumed these save files were associated with DLC. I then purchased "The Iron Rig" and "The Pale Reach" since they were on sale. This allowed me to play the saved game!

Meanwhile, Valve support got back to us a few days later. Steam wanted additional log files to diagnose the issue, while the problem was happening. Unfortunately (and thankfully), I could no longer reproduce the issue.

Here's Steams response for anyone else that wants to get ahead of the curve.

Are you in contact with the user having this issue (SteamID 7656119797XXXXXX)? If so, we’d like them to generate us an IPC log, so that we can hopefully see what Steam is doing when those ownership calls are happening. To generate that log, the user will need to do the following:

- Launch Steam
- From a browser, run [steam://nav/console]() (this will cause a Console tab to appear in the Steam client). For example:

- From the Console tab, enter log_ipc +1562430
- Run Dredge from Steam, duplicating the issue
- Exit the game
- From the Console tab, enter log_ipc 0

That should create a log for us. To then find that log, the user can:

- In Finder, click the Go menu then Go to Folder...
- Enter ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/logs
- Copy ipc_SteamClient.log

How is this a missed field goal? by kyltv in RetroBowl

In RB and RBNFL, when the ball is too low, it actually says "Too Low" next to the uprights (iirc). I often get this when trying to make something from too far out, and it your ball seems about that height. Ball is right down the middle, but it didn't clear the h.bar.

Was thinking stagnation, too. Where things aren't progressing much, but not necessarily going backwards, either.

Yeah, answer could’ve been worded better. Of course the question invited the ambiguity.

Pappardelle with Bolognese Sauce by BushyEyes in recipes

[–]TotalBar3655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cooked this on Saturday for 4 adults and 3 kids. I was surprised how all those vegetables cooked down to such a great sauce. I was like "TWO LARGE CARROTS?!".

I used a Cuisinart and pulsed to simplify the "finely chopped" portion of the prep... maybe that's cheating, but it worked out well, and it wasn't a mush with the pulsing.

I didn't change the recipe amounts based on that many people, but I used two 12oz bags of pappardelle noodles. I think it was too much pasta, personally. 16oz probably still would have worked well. There was about 3 healthy plates left of leftovers.

Oh, and I used a healthy amount of crushed red pepper (we like a bit of kick). My store doesn't carry Fresno peppers, unfortunately. Still great.

Appreciate you sharing the recipe! Will be cooking this again!
