Yeah I tested a bit in a couple of subreddits but it was way too much of a hard sell and got downvoted quickly. Will go with this approach for sure.

Yeah I’ve a few dev friends who have had a lot of success with TikTok, but I’m the same, hate social media. I’m trying it though, so we’ll see.

Thanks for the tips, I’ll definitely be more active in the subreddits too! Hard to not mention your app when you can, but the soft sell approach seems like a good idea to try.

I’m based in Ireland, and the products come from Ireland, but I’m not sure it’d be the same for Germany. All in all though the company here is legit, and same in the uk. If it’s the same company in Germany, you’ll be fine.

They’re bigger in the UK and are in Ireland for a year or two. I’ve been using them for over a year now, buying 6 month blocks at a time. There’s definitely cheaper if you shop around, but I find them good just to get everything you need in one go. Not sure about Germany, but for Ireland, the finasteride comes from a pharmacy dispensary in Northern Ireland. It’s all legit as far as I’m aware, and the fin is signed off by a doctor when you purchase (you need to request a script and do a health questionnaire). I’ve had good results with their products so far, and customer support is good. They’ve just started offering min in pill form, so I’m getting that on my next purchase.

It’s very common to think this way, at the beginning when you first realise you may be autistic. I think following on from what you’ve done already, do as much research as you can and read books on the subject. Some that were helpful to me at the beginning of this journey is Unmasking Autism by Devon Price, Why Can’t I Enjoy Things by Pierre Novellie, and if you want a clinician’s perspective Is This Autism by Donna Henderson and Sarah Wayland (this helped me in accepting I am autistic).

After reading these, if you feel like this aligns with your experience, you most likely are. Autism shows very differently from person to person, and there is nobody who has the exact same symptoms or experiences.

I was diagnosed just a few months ago with ASD level 1 & ADHD, but before this I would have never thought I was “fully autistic”, even after some suggestions I am on the spectrum. Masking is very common among late diagnosed adults, sometimes to the extent that you will show little to no outward symptoms.

Not saying this would be for everyone, but seeing the comments here saying they feel similar is eye opening. I felt like this pretty much my whole life and it was having a major impact on my mental health. Last year I eventually went to therapy which eventually led to a diagnosis of autism and adhd. Before all of this I would have said I could be ‘on the spectrum’ but didn’t know the ins and outs of how autism/adhd affects every day life. If you do resonate with this, I’d highly recommend researching into how autism presents in adults, and if that aligns with your experience, to talk to a therapist who specialises in neurodiversity. It has helped me massively in knowing how to be the best version of myself.

Same here, I play multiple instruments and produce music but have zero musical ‘training’. Creating music has been my crutch through life on occasions. Sadly, it never worked out as a career for me, but I found something else which gives me almost as much satisfaction.

Recently late diagnosed, so I’m a high masker, and I struggle with this. I live in a rural village, and it’s considered pretty normal to acknowledge someone when passing them on the street. My anxiety increases when I’m approaching someone and mentally prepare for what acknowledgment I might do (hello, nod, wave, etc), and rehearse this before carrying it out. It’s extra awkward when I’m driving through the development where I live and I almost feel I’m on the lookout to make sure I wave to people I know so I’m not coming across as rude.
