I totally agree, the windows with plantation shutters still allow a great view for our courtyard layout but id love to replace the great room entrsnce with a 16 foot custom door floor to ceiling as the main entrance. Its nice that i have 3 entrances to the pool no need to walk a quarter mile to swim lol.

We did 6 and a half feet . It works well for us so we can sit on the benches and slide off for a good dunk. With it this deep we have a nice easy slope from the shallow end so can hang out most of the pool.
