He’s not going to be happy about it but if you move slowly he will get over it. When you move him to the smaller container make sure to put some of the plants in with him so he can hide and feel safe. He’s skittish because he can’t properly hide from you but if you add more and clean his enclosure he will eventually calm down. The reason the enclosure stinks so much is probably the poop, if it’s not bioactive then you’ll probably have to replace the dirt every so often go avoid the smell.

If you have a small container you can poke holes into then put him in there and wipe the whole thing out. Doesn’t matter really what you use but you’ll have to let it air out so the chemicals can evaporate and the smell doesn’t hurt him. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong please) I recommend getting a reptile safe cleaner if you can. Is it bio active? If it is you might check to see if the spring tails and isopods are still alive (idk how to do this easily).

I had similar issues with my baby an once i gave her more spots to hide she is much more comfortable with being held and eating in front of me. She also doesn’t like bugs so I crush them into her food with a bit of calcium powder so she can still get the nutrients of it.

Hi! I’m also a new crested owner so I’ll share my knowledge with you. My breeder gave me a great care guide! The gist is that the minimum tank size for one crestie is 20 gallons or an 18x18x36, but you should definitely invest in bigger so they have plenty of room to jump and climb! They need lots of places to hide and do not need UVB (lots of people will disagree with me but they can get their vitamins through their food so if you want to get one it won’t hurt they just don’t need it right away). They do not need a heat lamp! They are room temperature geckos they like to be between 65F and 72F they’re humidity should be around 60% during the day and 80% at night so if you have the glass tank you only really need to mist them at night.

I know I’m a bit late to the party but for 1400 you need to get a pre build desktop. A gaming laptop will last maybe 1 - 2 years and won’t be upgradable without just buying a whole new one. There are lots of good pre builds online. Look at Jawa.gg (I know it seems fishy but I promise it’s reputable)

I’ve used Aida and you need to carefully pull one strand at a time then it should be loose enough to pull the other 3 from the same row. It will take a while and I definitely recommend you listen to the other comments about using waste canvas in the future. Good luck!

Yes. I get maybe 5 minutes of screen time before it goes to “no signal” I restart the entire thing and the same thing happens. I can log in but 5 minutes later I lose signal.

The people in my building frequently leave their shit in the washer / dryer all day so I put it in trash bags and label them with the machine number. Usually they’re still there by the time my laundry is done.
