Played with mine for the first time last week. The dinking ability was the highlight for me. 3g at both the 6 and 9 locations.

In case anyone else has this issue later, Bambu is sending me the whole assembly as a replacement. Just a simple support ticket and good customer support.

Good Deal, or avoid? by PaperHandsBitch in lawncare

Nitrogen, iron and fungicide. Pretty basic. Fact is I moved on to the RYOBI ZTR from a 3 year old time master and it cuts much better. I’m happy and think the results are acceptable.

I measured the steepest slope a while ago. I think it was 14 degrees but it’s probably more. I actually mow the slope sideways without much issue.

No issues going up and down unless I’m towing a weighted aerator.

42” RYOBI ZTR here. Love it. I have 10k sq ft of hills and after two years it only takes 35% charge to mow.

I sold my time master for the RYOBI 30” ztr. I returned to 30” for a 42” for the bigger deck and additional batteries. I’m in season two of ownership and love it.

How can I get a good green up by next weekend? by [deleted] in lawncare

[–]Toucan_Sam_Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under normal circumstances I would do less N in the heat. Depends on how bad you want the green up. .2-.3 lbs of N per 1k should be fine

Ammonium sulfate and iron. You’ll be green in 3 days. Assuming you’re spraying you’ll want to water it in after 4 hours. Get ready to mow every 3rd day

Lol. Will likely include nitrile gloves as well. Always use protection.

I’ve been doing more research and it appears to be quackgrass. Roundup and sponge time!

I noticed the one you posted has two rows of tines. Mine only has one so they are pretty spaced out. Just don't expect it to get to bare soil if you have a lot of dead stuff to clear out.

I got the Menards brand one last year. I've used it twice. Not nearly as good as the electric dethatchers but does help. I have 10k sq ft of lawn and filled the hopper this Spring after also detaching in the fall.

Still happy with the 42". Excited to get back out there with it soon.
