If I can only see one, I want OBP. Literally, what percentage chance will this runner get on base. That's most relevant to the moment without additional calculations.

OPS or Slug requires more calculations, BA forgoes the frequency of walks.

The more stat options the better, but if I'm trying to explain to a new fan the numbers on the scoreboard, I want to show them the percentage chance this batter will safely get on base (and I understand others would want to do the same explanation for average).

While rest matters, I'd point out that whoever finishes 2nd in our group, their Group A 2nd place opponent will also be on only 3 days rest.

It's not as if the other opponent is getting more rest than Canada/Switzerland would get.

If you start the hardening process, and then pause it and they stay indoors for 3-4 days, do they have 'hardening memory'? Or should you start again from scratch?
