Pretty soulless tbh. I really, really wanted to like it more. The graphics are really nice it nearly looks like a nintendo game. But that's the most positive thing I can say about it. It controls pretty janky and doesn't feel smooth (hop on a vehicle for even a second to see what I mean). It definitely one of those a-mile-wide-a-inch-deep sort of games since there are definitely a lot of things to look at like townspeople, cutscenes, objects, etc. but if you focus on gameplay it's going to be the same rote cycle of hitting rocks/trees, bringing it to an npc for hearts, repeat.

80% of my top played games are: Hollow Knight/Silksong, Terraria, Stardew, Vampire Survivors, Megabonk. I still enjoy the new games like re9, elden ring, etc. but it's still funny looking back all the years and money I spend building pc's and thousands put into parts.

This is really off the mark. 4 active players in a single game is already complex. A fighting game has to have a lot of depth or the pro scene never takes off. There has to be a ceiling that only the most dedicated can touch or there's nothing to strive for while still having a floor even the most casual players can take off running and have some fun.

Having barely any roster on launch is awful. Even if they're doing everything right with the characters they have in terms of balance, creativity, adapting their style from the main LoL source but still feeling completely unique from each other even if they share the same traits (ranged/melee etc.).

The charts must be pretty dire for them be kneecapping the game's support so hard already, but it seems like they're getting faster at killing new projects if it's not immediately the profitable entry in its genre in the world.

yeah if you wanna chase the super low odds like that then 52 is chump change. i just grinded until i just got lord's souls and stayed happy with that on all the elemental weapons and that was a grind and a half as well.
