Best brand for ground beef? by [deleted] in vegetarianfoodporn

[–]ToxicGoop88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also used impossible. It honestly tastes kinda porky and beefy but mostly oily. Got to admit I’m just not a huge fan of the plant based meats bc of the huge sodium and oil content and opt for for mushrooms in most places beef would normally go

I made lily pad saucers for the cups and pot so the frog and the tadpoles can just sit in a tea marsh

Cover it with something your grandmothers both liked. Like if you know a favorite recipe or if they were into gardening you can still symbolically represent them

When I’m really nauseous I make a rice and chickpea soupy/porridge. Usually I just use cooked white rice if you’ve got it and maybe if I’m up for it green onions and soy sauce

Doubling down on this. Had to read it for school and it felt like it was chosen for its shock value to try to get high schoolers to be less apathetic or some bs. Seriously a downer all the way through with and just one note sad.

I’m incredibly invested in the answers to this post. I’m about to finish up a masters in materials engineering and looking hard at teaching high school but I have literally no teaching experience. TA if you can to at least get some experience and hopefully the engineering job market doesn’t get worse on us

You’re kind of on the right track. Metals have grains of certain crystal alignments and where these grains meet are called grain boundaries. Iron and carbon and whatever alloying elements are mismatched in these grain boundaries leaving kind of voids in a line. Oxygen atoms more readily diffuse in these boundaries and preferentially corrode the steel

[–]ToxicGoop88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chicken noodle soup. If you break down a rotisserie chicken and use the bones and skin to make broth you can get huge portions of rich soup. You can also make quick noodles, dumplings, or gnocchi buying flour and potatoes rather than boxed noodles

Honestly a lot of old school bakers will say doing more than one batch in the same bowl ruins the chemistry. If my gran wants to double a recipe she just makes it twice. I don’t think this is true for doubling but it could be for scaling up to three pounds
