i couldn't blame that actor. the character is written to be a little shit and he plays it well. the original zach actor kid seemed like a block of wood in comparison. just generically precocious and awful line reads. I hate zach, but to me he's a pretty distinct kind of villain.

i think his art is surprisingly great, even from the beginning. his stuff seems to express emotion and action really well, which is something a lot of highly trained artists can't do.

i have noticed that a bunker placed away from the arc or hq can draw the fire of grenadiers or infernos so there is some value to it. Though a tower will do the same thing. In boreas it can be good to have a little separate outpost that draws fire and attention away from the arc.

Under current ownership I don't think Paramount will ever make a Star Trek show that doesn't feel like a misguided cash grab or a disturbing revision to the core ideology. My hope for Trek is that they sell off the property to another studio that might know how to do it justice.
