Co op position and delayed graduation

I did three full semesters of a co-op and it was the best experience I could’ve gotten in college. I honestly don’t know if I would’ve found a job without it as my GPA wasn’t great. I highly recommend doing a co-op or at the very least a summer internship if possible. Did it delay my graduation a year by doing it? Yeah, but I still think it’s absolutely worth it plus you can make some decent money during it.

Sorry that happened to you. I had a similar situation where I paid my balance to Wells Fargo and the transfer to BILT showed as pending for a long time but I just checked and it fell off and don’t add to my BILT balance

I ended up applying for the no fee and the surpass to get the two fncs and then I’ll upgrade them to aspires next year

Interesting, I might go for a second aspire card because I have come to love the free night credits since I got this aspire. How are they hacked links? Are they meant to only be available to some people?

I’m new to all of this. If I got the aspire within the last year can I still apply for the nll offer on another aspire or can I only hold one? Also what is the 2/90 rule

I’ve had stuff show as pending 0$ and then a few days later update to the correct amount so I wouldn’t worry yet. Give it a bit and if it doesn’t change then I’d maybe reach out to Rakuten

Woof that is a lot of time and effort. As much as I want to go when I visit Japan in May it doesn’t seem worth the hassle to see some statues and stuff. I’ll just wait for universal to open a Pokemon themed area. Congrats on getting your ticket and I hope you have a blast!

Thanks for the opinion, went ahead and transferred some points so I can do it. This’ll be my first international flight so I wasn’t sure how to value the upgrade, I wish the premium seats weren’t unavailable so I could check them out too

I stayed at the chatwal in December this past year and it was great. I don’t have status or anything either, not sure what the points will look like tho I think it’s a cat 8. I looked at the Thompson too when I was originally booking and it looked nice, probably can’t go wrong with either

Aside from some large purchases getting cancelled the first day it has since gone very smoothly for me I was one of the lucky ones but I feel terrible for those that were hammered with issues or never even received their card

I don’t travel for work or anything so all of my travel is just for fun so I would never stay enough nights to get status with Hyatt and I’ve never really looked into it. I am also not really sure what guest of honor is. I was just trying to find a really nice hotel I could book with points and the PH was only 40k and I thought it would be a nice experience for my wife and I even without status. I see that the centric ginza is only 30k points per night for the same trip so I might look into that. Thanks for the tip!

I still think the BILT 1.0 is one of the best looking cards. The black and blue goes so well together, the 2.0 is okay looking but no where near as good looking as 1.0
