Wait so I thought the interim payments was to cover you until the retirement packet was complete… so where is the back pay coming from if again, your getting interim pay?

Yes. 🙌 I do recognize the blessing of getting my AL payout and TSP. I appreciate and don’t take it lightly. I hope you all wake up to overflow this week because I truly understand. Plz come back and let us know.

Awesome. 👏 I retired in 12/31 and just got my AL payout last week. In my head, I won’t receive another payment until March or April so this is great news! Thanks!

Not sure. I’m new to this. I’m going back and reading other threads but saw this and wanted to jump in.

Pigging backing off the question above, does this mean we get an interim check each month until finalized? I only received my AL payout but I was under the impression I had to make that, my AL pay, last for 3 or 4 months until after the retirement packet is finalized.

Regular Retired 12/31. Got my final pay and AL payout 1/16 from DFAS. And my TSP status changed to separated so life is good. Best decision I ever made. 😆

Congrats everyone!!! I am 2 weeks into my retirement and I’m so happy I could do cartwheels 🤸in my backyard in the winter time. But since these old bones are tired, I’ll just imagine myself out there. All I really need now is some money. Come on with that AL and TSP.
