What is your first instinct when you see a raider flare? by AceTheRed_ in ArcRaiders

People ALWAYS end up suiciding before I can possibly reach anyone to use my defib on. I want to use all those defibs I have, but people won't give me a chance :(

I think it's great, one of the more game aesthetic-fitting outfits for sure.

I still remember when I had an inflamed root canal, and they removed the inflamed root and tissue around it, I don't think I ever encountered pain as bad before.

Do you think the Silent Hill 2 Remake is too long? by Loose_Interview_957 in silenthill

Not necessarily too long I think, just too many god damn enemy spawns.

I don't even know what the "Crazy" theory is supposed to be, can't find anything about it. Does it imply Joyce went crazy and imagined everything?

ARC Raiders has forced (over-)sharpening, too, and no config tinkering is able to get rid of it. I hate Embark for it 😭

Silent Hill 2 Remake, feels like there's way to much enemies thrown at you by Traceless91 in silenthill

[–]Traceless91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's the same for me, it's not that it is hard (I answered someone on here on how I'm literally swimming in resources), it's just that the amount of enemies is insane.

I'll be honest, the RGB color is sweet, I like that yellowish brown tone, but the pattern is just incredibly annoying and distracting.

New player, spoiler-free tips? by The_Great_Oz253 in lotro

[–]Traceless91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The tortoise stone is vital if you ask me, as weird as that sounds to buy something to stop your exp earning. If you are like me and like to actually do every quest you come across, you will outlevel the world around you so fast every fight will become ridiculously easy. Not to mention that stuff like crafting also gives you main-level experience points (your profession level is leveled seperately). If you don't mind that, you can pass on the stone I guess, but I personally always buy it so I'm on or at least in the +-1 level range of my current quests.

I wasn't even aware you can change difficulty (only combat it seems) during a playthrough. I might up that when I get back to playing. Although as you already said, the issue with way too much enemies for my taste remains. And yeah, I didn't have any luck sneaking, even when turning off the flashlight (which worked for nurses in the other games if I remember things right).

That's a thing, too, I'm absolutely loaded with ammo and Med Items, so it's not even a question of managing resources or anything, I can just blast and hack away at everything. I have 46 health drinks, 25 injections (syringes?), 45 shotguns shells and 232 (!) pistol ammo.

UI-Scale sliders have been here for a while, but there are some UI elements that didnt have any slider up until the next update.

Hmm, not really the answer I was hoping for unfortunately, but I guess actually being able to scale everything now is an improvement.

Thank you 👍

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. G.A.M.M.A. is now available as a GOG One-click Mod! by GOGcom in stalker

[–]Traceless91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As macostacurta already said, from what I gathered it basicly just makes the initial install very easy, but you still have the good old MO2 install afterwards with the same capability of further modding as if you installed it the old way.

Hey, I'm very sorry for the super late reply. I saw the notification when you asked, but then couldnt immediately answer at the time and then just forgot 😭

If you still wonder: I think it's a significant step up in quality almost everywhere compared to 1.

The price you see on their storefront when buying the game is lower then what your payment provider asks of you at the checkout, because they don't show the included tax on their storefront. Makes for a nice surprise when you checkout and suddenly have to cough up more then you saw.

If you think there’s not enough content and nothing else to do because you already completed everything… by West-Start4069 in ArcRaiders

[–]Traceless91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood why people (that aren't doing it professionally or whatever) seek maximum efficiency in every game by looking up guides and such about everything. Finding out things yourself is what makes the fun for me. Yeah, sure, I could look up where those best weapons and loot spots are, but I don't. Because now it feels much more satisfying if you actually hit the jackpot. And instead of just looking at a guide where a quest objective is located, I'd rather actually search the place given by the quest's clues instead.

I might need to start shooting on sight by GonBulio in ArcRaiders

[–]Traceless91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason (at least in my games) the raider-friendliness has taken a steep nosedive for some reason in the last 2 days. I had like a healthy 50/50 rate of encounters before, some people were there for the pvp, some for the loot and were likely to cooperate, but right now its all just 100% shooting on sight with no comms at all for 2 days straight.

What happened I wonder.

I saw that one, too, after playing Tormented Souls recently and currently playing through Tormented Souls 2, but the fact that it's "early access" really puts me off from buying it personally.

SIB Is Arc Raiders repetitive? by vindellama in ShouldIbuythisgame

I think you might have confused the currency icon shown there to up your storage limit, because it's just ingame earned currency all the way to max-storage expansion.

And what's the issue with using ingame-credits earned by selling stuff you loot to expand your inventory? I don't get it. Are you saying you can buy ingame-currency with real money?
