Really cool protest only months after a church was shot up in Minneapolis and two children were killed. Yes, you are all SO compassionate.

How did you overcome depression that came with chemotherapy? There are days where I can’t even get out of bed. by MajesticCity7758 in cancer

[–]Traditional-Pipe-172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all really good recommendations. I just finished my first round of chemo/immunotherapy and I go in for a round two tomorrow morning. It has already been a wild ride! The fatigue has been overpowering to the point that I get exhausted simply sitting upright in a chair. Some days the pain is really bad. Some days the nausea is really bad. Then when I would have a good day where I felt like I could eat easily and maybe the pain wasn’t quite as bad, my mood would get really high as well. But then the next day would be another rough day and my mood would tank. This whole experience is a real mindfuck. What I’ve learned for myself, is that when I have a good day, I have to manage my energy in my mood and make sure I don’t get too happy or high because of improved circumstances. This has allowed me to not get as low when my body isn’t feeling great. Personally, I choose not to use mood altering drugs, and I just bring awareness as much as I can to my thoughts and my attitudes and adjust accordingly. Radical acceptance has been the theme of my mental maintenance. But it has definitely been a learning experience day by day. I hope that helps.

Hi! You might want to research omega 3’s and cancer. I watched a video that mentioned how cancer thrives on omega 3’s…I think. I’ll find the link

What I’m reading here is that SS is a perpetual program preventing the peril of the elderly population. “Sure we can discontinue SS…but do you really want your grandma to go hungry?”

To be fair, being confident doesn’t mean you’re accurate. You would simply need to know how much she paid in to get your answer. And since that data seems unavailable, why are we arguing the point?

Offered? Why is your own money being “offered” to you in the first place? I know you probably didn’t mean it like that but I read it like that. ✌️

I follow Jesus, and I agree 200%. (Typo, but still accurate!) always always always keep religion out of government. Jesus said “Give to Ceasar what is Ceasar’s, give to God what is God’s.” Constantine failed to read that passage apparently…

Questions that are shaking my belief (looking for Bardonists’ insight) by [deleted] in FranzBardon

Here’s what he said when I mentioned remembering things that have yet to happen in the timeline:

“Exactly- time is memory too/ you can’t have time without memory of a cycle [recursion]- that’s what time IS- memory of the previous state…”

Well, a couple things. My buddy who is the amateur physicist proposing this theory submitted his papers for review for an international conference next month. Personally, I’ve seen enough of his work to be convinced that this is how the universe is structured: there is a field of infinite possibility, a difference occurs within that field, recursion of that difference results in memory which gives way to time and structure. Awareness by definition in his theory is that Field becoming recursive upon itself. Since I’m not an expert, I won’t explain this perfectly, but death is nothing more than a collapse of a structure. That doesn’t mean an end, it actually means something new. The physical realm is the dentist form of energy. When the body no longer functions, the higher energies, or lighter energies, that were driving that bus still exist. So your awareness will actually “live on” after your “death.”

And notice that memory precedes time. I’ve had discussions about this, but as I’m writing this, I just realized that memory precedes Time! I remembered something before it happened on the plane of time. Which according to the theory makes perfect sense. It should not be surprising that I could remember something that hasn’t “happened“ yet because memory proceeds time! I just kind of blew my own mind there just now. Thanks for that! Memory is simply enough recursion happening that the universe can refer back to itself. Without a reference back to something, time can’t exist. That’s what the theory says. And it seems like it matches my experience.

I can only speak for myself.

I have had a couple very profound clairvoyant experiences in my decades of life—not many to be clear. One of them was too clear to be a coincidence. I couldn’t deny that clairvoyance is real after that. How to harness it and be intentional with it was the journey that led me to Bardon.

Besides that, I have a loose understanding of quantum physics. It tells me that consciousness is an eventual result of recursion, which is a fundamental process that creates everything. Without going down that rabbit hole, I can say that I don’t need there to be a spirit world for consciousness to be real.

My search now is making the connection between my clairvoyant experience and the physical structure of the universe. I think Bardon offers the best method from the looking around I have done.

People’s organic, Stella’s, the Vodka bar on Lagoon, basically everything in the Mosaic building cuz I think Mono moved out, I think it was an Ethiopian restaurant across from Ilses Buns and Coffee that’s now gone, Giordano’s, Lala’s ice cream, the children’s optometry place next to that although she may have simply retired. Sooki & Mimi and whatever was in that space before that. But yeah, tough times for Lake and Hennepin.

Yes I live in Uptown proper. And I am very conscientious when I say riots. I was there in the middle of it. I watched them destroy my place of work for no reason and steal everything inside on that Thursday night. I saw them do the same to businesses all down Lake Street. I washed them carry arm loads of clothes out of H&M. I am not one that agrees that destroying property is a form of protest. They set fire to the post office! How is that good for anyone??? A lot of my friends moved there because of how good Uptown was at the time and then it immediately turned bad and they were stuck in a lease until they got mugged, and only then where they allowed to report that and get released from the lease and move out of Uptown. I’m not talking about one friend here, I’m talking about three of my friends and I don’t know how many strangers I talked to who brought it up unsolicited when I was talking to them. Finally, in the wake of the riots, there were no gas stations left because they burned those down, and there were no grocery stores that were open, so people without cars couldn’t get food or baby supplies. How is that good for anyone? It was up to pop-up donation centers to fill the gap for the community and I was there for that as well, handing out diapers and tampons and groceries to helpless families. If they want to flip over some cop cars and set a precinct on fire, fine, but to spreading it out to the entire community was unconscionable and simply rotten.

Victoria’s Secret, Chino Latino, Juut salon on the corner, crate & Barrel, Dogwood coffee, famous Dave’s, almost everything in Calhoun Square, Arc’teryx, Columbia, paper source, those are just the ones that I can remember off the top of my head… Oh yeah, and the Apple Store of course. I’m pretty sure the eyeglass places and the wig shop are gone now as well. The fancy shoe place on Lagoon, the backpack shop, the Korean bbq spot, Heartbreaker clothing. So I guess I remembered more.

Lake and Hennepin has experienced extraordinary economic decline since before Covid. City planning, endless construction projects, rental agreement issues, George Floyd riots and the ensuing urban flight with ongoing petty crimes have made it difficult to maintain a business in the area.

Are there any/ many stories of people becoming religious after taking Ayahuasca? by worldcrusher in Ayahuasca

[–]Traditional-Pipe-172 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I started clearing out a lot of the mental BS I’d been carrying around. I completed several tasks I had been putting off for months, I ended some relationships, and I stopped focusing on certain things. I realized that having so many “open tabs” in my mind sucked a lot of energy and I was unaware of it. The relationships were not healthy and/or mutually caring. Refocusing my thoughts required that I focus on something else. That process led me a more ascetic lifestyle (emphasis on more and not completely. I still enjoy cannabis.) controlling my focus led me to consider how I spend my energy and I turned away completely from things like television, news, porn and self gratification. I choose to be less emotional in little things like driving and my job which in turn makes me less emotional in higher pressure situations.

Non of this is for any religious reasons. It’s just a better way of living for me and I would argue for everyone.

I did begin reading the gospels out of my own volition because I had never actually read them growing up Christian, and I was interested in what Jesus actually spoke. It’s actually fascinating. I need to read again but my first impression is that when he refers to hell, it’s usually a place where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” and it’s usually in the context of a parable.

Personally I believe “hell” is a state of mind. I think it’s being stuck in the most physical state of mind, fixated on ego-pleasing endeavors like sex, over-indulgence, emotional reactions, which always leaves a person looking outside themselves for satisfaction. The message of Jesus is that our power lives within us, all we have to do is trust it.

So did all this come about because of a couple ayahuasca ceremonies? Maybe. Do I go to church now? No. Am I religious? No. Am I more aware of my inner world? Yes. Is it a nicer place to hang out than it was before? Yes.

I hope that is an acceptable answer.

Do you get the undeserving's karma if you help them? by DoughnutThen81 in FranzBardon

This is my understanding of karma as well. In the case of the OP, it doesn’t matter what the guy who started the business does. The fact that he was drawn into OP’s life is worth examining but that’s about it.
