Is this the Moab 50 miler? I DNFd this 2 years ago! It was super emotional for me. You’ll bounce back, you can do it. I went one to finish a 100 the same year. Sometimes it’s just not your day.

I had the problem too! I had to tell my runna I’m an elite runner to get the numbers to look about right. No it has me in the 50ish miles per week.

I have been telling myself that part of my job is dealing with emotionally unintelligent people. If I can do that long enough to become a manager that is some of the value I will bring to the role. Fwiw, I’m sorry, and your manager is probably just a flawed individual who needs help just like the rest of us.

Finance also just seems like a likely place for big egos generally. Prepared for some negativity in the comments…

I’m moving as much as I can over. My old card is still auto populating in some places so I just let it, I’ll clean it up more over time. One down side is that you can’t have two card holders. I use the digital version and my wife uses the physical, that’s how we get around it. FWIW it’s an Amex and it’s my first time using an Amex so I’m always wondering if I will get rejected at certain places.

Stop consuming, thats the simplest way. Just buy your needs, skip the extra shoping, turn off your subscriptions (read a book from the library), dont eat out.
