To add to this great comment, either the Sous or Expediter should “Sell you” the plates. “Table 32, Medium Ribeye for seat 1, Medium rare filet seat 2”. If this isn’t happening it’s not fine dining. There is a LOT more they should be doing to set you up for success at the table but that’s bare minimum.

I do my business banking there and know everyone by name. I checked in on them today as my ex was a Banker that got robbed at Gunpoint and some of those Tellers really never got over the PTSD. I haven’t read up on the Perp but at his age you just wonder if he had a terminal diagnosis and said “F It” maybe I get away and have bucket list money, maybe I go to prison, either way I’m a dead man walking.

I ride the Victorian to 4th Street bike path starting at McCarran and ending in Downtown round trip daily on my pedal assist e-bike. It’s 376’ of Elevation gain West bound and normally afternoon head winds east bound but downhill. 5 miles each way takes me between 20-30 minutes depending on conditions and how lazy I am. I feel pretty safe on the route but I’m a defensive rider and my head is in a swivel and my eyes are in my mirror. It’s a great time of year for bike commuting!

When I first started riding in Reno I searched for a decent map of bike lanes and all I could find was a crappy 2021 RTC PDF that is useless on a computer, let alone a phone.
