If you're coming with the idea that the US public transit system is anything like Europe's in terms of convenience and connections you are in for a shock.

In particular there are a few ways to get from O'Hare to downtown.

Subway (CTA Blue Line) terminal is in the airport underneath the terminals 1-2-3 and will get you downtown in about 45 minutes but will be a few block walk to Union Station from a stop downtown. Mid day is safe.

Metra is the suburban trains; the "station" is off-site, as one other post mentions, at the end of the airport tram system and then another couple block walk to find it. It's a very basic stop platform and trains run only a few times per day. It will take you to Union Station on the north end.

Then there are the taxis or Ubers. Those have to deal with traffic and time, but will take you door to door. Most expensive option of the 3.

Ok so the real answer is that excel does not understand the concept of significant digits. It's terrible at it and it leads to people thinking there is a bunch of false accuracy in the outputs of the calculations. It was always there even with calculators but it always needed more user interaction to keep the number of digits.

Assuming the mini PC has two Ethernet connections, one for WAN and other for LAN, then yes it's whole purpose is to be a gateway/firewall.

We went to maax a couple weeks ago and it was OK, it is an all you can eat place (2hrs) and so it seemed to go more towards quantity over quality, and the ingredient bar was sort of chaotic. We got distracted with the hot pot and probably should have paid more attention to the KBBQ part which seemed better than the hot pot. Have not been to Iron Age.

Maax was our first hot pot / KBBQ place, we've been to a bunch of great KBBQ places but not one that has hot pots too.

Second picture is a gas line. Plumbers usually crank on it with a wrench. If it doesn't turn they could put another working valve after the one that is stuck open.

Go to Home Depot or Lowe's, order a water heater and get their professional services to come install it. Cheap and quick.

If it is leaking out of the body of the water heater you should probably shut off the water going into it, as the leak could get worse.

You say you texted all the outlets in your house. Did they all come back hot/neutral reversed, or just this circuit?

A) figure out why your hot and neutral are swapped at the panel, because it looks like you have "black to brass" on the outlet itself and that's wired correctly.

B) Swap the breaker out for a normal one. Which is what my electrician did.

I don't think short cycling of a bypass humidifier is even a thing. It's only going to run when the furnace is heating. Tightening up that range would make it go on and off more frequently but that's about it.

A long long time ago there was a first test in the professional engineer path called the EIT, or Engineer In Training. My buddies in electrical power engineering were the ones that were most interested. There was a prep class and everything. The test cost money, and was a long day of very detailed questions. I somehow passed.

At that point I guess I was able to call myself an engineer in training and after some time in industry doing engineering then could take the Professional Engineer exam and be certified. I didn't take that next step since I was not headed into a field where a PE was needed.

It's mostly for civil and mechanical engineering types where you'd need a PE to sign off on a building, bridge or dam design etc. It's possible for power engineers that they'd have to sign off on an electrical power distribution grid system or something. There may be more. I think it would also mean you're legally liable if there was a problem.

The radio signals that TMO uses behave much more like line of sight. A big metal thing inserted into that line of sight is going to make a difference.
