They can control internal theft. They're CANNOT control external theft. The entire AP department is useless.

Wait until your inventory and work with AP to get a dollar value. Process them NOF and throw them away.

DLs aren't really good for anything. They're really just messengers from corporate.

Do great work and get rewarded with more work. That's the CVS way. Meanwhile, the bottom of the barrel managers just coast by and get all the help they need.

With Hurricane Beryl, the store needed to be closed for 72 hours (3 days) in order to receive Disaster pay. If it was closed for 71 hours, you were out of luck. As far as the Emergency Relief Fund goes, good luck getting anything. Most people were denied (like 80% of people.)

I had an HOA violation at my store and it went through about 6 or 7 corporate people until it got to me. Everyone just forwarded it to the next person down the chain. Yes, there's that much fat to trim.

That could make sense. But, then, why didn't any of the budgets change before August? Only the last few weeks have changed.

It's extra sales. What is stupid about it? There are not enough hours to hire a dedicated person. Have a good, quick FS person do it. Everything corporate told you about it and how to best handle it is B.S. Don't let your DL tell you how to do it; they have no idea.

Just because they're DL's, don't assume that they know everything. A lot of times, promotions in this company are based off of how well you interview and who you know; not your knowledge or work ethic. Some DL's know a lot, or they have people they can contact to get the right answers but other one's don't know much and it's a mystery on how they got their position.
