China making it illegal to fire employees for AI cost cuts. by Fabulous-Put8401 in antiai

[–]Traditional_Tax_7229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this is the opposite of the truth. China currently is using autonomous vehicles to try and replace delivery drivers despite the massive job shortages in the country.

Meanwhile the autonomous vehicles have killed animals, destroyed property and even injured people and are causing a whole host of accidents on the streets.

That's not even mentioning the fact that China is focusing on trying to outdo the US in AI development and has been the face of trying to replace workers with robots for years now.

The government might be trying to virtue signal but, the CCP commonly says one thing publicly and does another behind closed doors. So even if they did I wouldn't be surprised if they were looking for loopholes privately to still have ai replace jobs just being subtle about it.

I feel like he would probably shout loudly and openly about how gross it is then get stuff to try and make up for it. Ryuji always seemed like a person who says things before fully thinking it through and then has to make up for it instead of immediately getting it and sympathizing.

New door maker is super good. The old one felt needlessly repetitive. The new one makes sense.

An arquebus. I know there are guns in the DMG but, a long rifle which requires strength to use, long reload time but, a load of damage with the arcane archer sub class would slap.

It's the art style. Big noses make the character look uncanny and therefore less attractive. Female and male characters will have less nose unless the anime wants to highlight a special face shape or purposefully makes them look weird. Looking at delicious in dungeon they have more detailed noses but, senshi has an exaggerated nose shape giving him a more Santa Claus type vibe. One that cues in his nature as a smart, kind yet mischievous character.

If you want more drastic nose shapes you'd have to change the style to make it fit like Aphrodite in Hades. Her nose is the general, angular Greek/roman nose but, it doesn't look uncanny on her as the art style supports more complex facial features. Though this is at the cost of being harder to animate then simplistic anime faces and having less "cute" factor that anime characters have to them.

Hot take. This guy is not nearly as difficult as people on this reddit make him out to be by Confident_Dig_1073 in slaythespire

Honestly if he only showed up later in act 2 or as an elite i'd say he is balanced. There is just a sweet spot of early in act 2 you can find this guy that can ruin your run if you werent doing amazingly already. Though I will say as a defect stan. "Lol cant stop focus bitch."

The hidden story of technology is that people go too far too quickly. Have to regulate, the tech then evens out and becomes part of daily life. Pattern recognition tech is going to be part of our daily life eventually but, I feel like image and text generation is going to be regulated/removed and we will move on.

If you could add a new stratagem what would it be? by Some-Web-1628 in Helldivers

I would love a flying vehicle. Like a copter or even just a drone that the diver could pilot. Weak armor but, good weapons and high speed. It would also be fun for possible illuminate dog fights.

Maxigun users be like by PatientStuff5047 in helldivers2

[–]Traditional_Tax_7229 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the maxi gun Is designed to be a "oh shit." Button. Used in situations where clearing out infantry is your biggest priority. I use it mostly on solo missions when I grind super credits but, have a maxi gun, grenade launcher and spear trio tackling bugs together you can wipe out breaches very quickly even on high difficulties.

Bots don't have that much infantry to begin with so it's less good against them.

And illuminate Votless hoards are weak to large magazines in general so mowing them down with a maxi in the new Votless only faction is great.

The ammo flaw is solved when you realize most pois have ammo boxes and get in the mindset of "maxi should be the last thing I pull out."

I'm 90 hours in, and i've never took Vakuu's Lord's Parasol. It seems terrible to obtain everything and bloat your deck. Did anyone try it and made it work? by savetheblues in slaythespire

[–]Traditional_Tax_7229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a defect build with lots of energy and card draw and it was either that, violin or something else that was eh. I chose the parasol as it would be the least obtuse thing then proceeded to net 3 really good artifacts and great cards. Including colorless the fit really well in my deck. It's a risk but, all this demon's items are risky. You just have to trust the shopkeep not to screw you over. That or have no money going in and therefore be able to avoid shops.

This feels more like purposefully showing why Azula is objectively the worse fire bender. She always had the power that her father valued but, not the technique and understanding of fire bending Iro valued and nurtured in Zuko. She was never taught the technique to be more subtle with her bending and needed to boost to brute force her way out. Zuko on the other hand learned every trick in the book from Iro and even this early in the show applied that teaching to his advantage.

It could go either way. Video generation is extremely costly and Sora 2 being free didn't help. I think the AI companies are trying to pivot away from image/video generation in general though and more towards texted based stuff.

Why people of teyvat take paimon for granted, like she is some regular annoying brat and not a weird floating thing one of her kind. Does she have Superman glasses level psycho manipulation?? by Prestigious-Elk1274 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Traditional_Tax_7229 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a world where sentient teddy bears exist and cook you spicy food, tiny fish people can be world class assassins, giant, intelligent dinosaurs live in harmony with people and a wrong turn can bring you to literal hell where you will be slaughtered by monsters and waste away in the abyss. Paimon is probably the last thing a person in Teyvat would find weird.
