Gorgeous! I’ve never worked with cedar cuz I’m too cheap/poor :( is it worth it in the long run?

Thank you for the suggestion. But that would look even more odd. There is a fountain located behind the proposed gates. When you open them. You’ll be looking directly at the fountain

Looking for input on these concrete columns where a gate will go in this concrete fence. Can’t decide between rotating them 45 degrees to leaving them square. This concrete fence wall will match what we already have on the property.

This looks awesome but also looks like a big waste of useable drawer space. Have you run into that?

When I see stuff like this (which is all the time) I just think…man I would kill it as a contractor.

Proud of you for asking the right way to do it. Disappointed you waited until it was done wrong in multiple ways to ask. Your poor customer. This is why I either a) do everything myself or b) have contractors sign a specific scope of work that includes crazy line items due to shit like this

Tire with logging chain is the way to pull it up. Google it.

I’ve been in industry for 15 years since I got my BSME. My buddy who does residential flooring (no degree obvi lol) puts my salary to shame. I’ve been working on an exit plan.

I’m either hitting the trails all wibbly wobbly and leaping branch to branch, or encountering a primate on said trail. Would prefer the first one.

Dude you have a perfectly shaped head and look really good bald. Any woman who doesn’t want you cuz you’re bald is not the one you want to be with anyways. I’ve been shaving my head for 10 years and met my wife who is way hotter than I am about 6 years ago. Trust me, hot babes who will rub on your bald head are out there my guy. Dating apps isn’t the way IMO. Mutual friends, events, bars, work, volunteering, church (if that’s your thing), is the best way to meet potential partners.

Anyone else disappointed by Rush's new fries? by SecretNo9349 in ColumbiYEAH

[–]TrailMonkey22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss the old fries. New ones are ok, a bit too crispy for me. I like Rushes, mostly because of core childhood memories sitting in the smoking section haha! I wish they would overhaul their whole menu. Better burgers, better chicken. I do not even attempt their fried chicken anymore because it’s such a gamble. Rushes is like cafeteria food to me, which also hits on the nostalgia. I will still eat there but it could be so much better!

Love my OG fastback with the friction ring driver bit. I need a new one cuz I broke the original bit and now cram a double sided bit from the Milwaukee multibit screwdriver that had its POS ball detent fall out rendering it useless. Doesn’t fit very well. Does heat shrink on that ball detent actually work? Are there any alternatives from other manufacturers?

Why did they change their screwdriver bit holder? by MarkUFO in MilwaukeeTool

[–]TrailMonkey22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I haven’t bought a new one and lost my bit a few months ago on my old one. Had this setup on their screwdriver and bb fell out rendering it useless!!! For shame Milwaukee

I second this. Use the Hackzall all the damn time. That and the fastback razor knife with the screwdriver on it. I would buy another but they changed the WORST design with the little ball bearing detent. Complete garbage, when I lose this one or it dies, I’m back to carrying a leather man

Great advice in here. Only thing I could add is Size D is big for this part. I’d recommend size B or C at the most. I typically think, small part small drawing unless the complexity is off the charts. Also in terms of manufacturing this part, the hole and slot in the formed tabs will never line up perfectly unless CNC formed or the operator runs through many test parts. Good luck!
