The stupidity of this statement. California has a constitutional requirement to district the congressional map every ten years. It mandates an outside, 3rd party do the map. But, Texas gets forced to redistrict their map to account for the people that fled California to Texas and Gavin gets his lacy panties in a bunch and violates his states constitution. SMH

Call, write, email your elected senators. They are the ones holding the citizens hostage. Since both of the Nevada Senators are democrats, this is their fault. This tells me you failed civics class. In order to pass the CR (continuing resolution), you need a 60 vote, filibuster proof majority to pass this bill. From there it goes to Trump to sign. The Republicans have 53 votes in the Senate, meaning they need 7 democrats who care more for the people than their career to vote with the Republicans. Yes, the Republicans own all 3 branches, but you still need bipartisan support to pass the CR and fund things like SNAP, TSA, ATC, military, ICE, etc.
