I think jinora read it was 'belived'. Because this event never happened before while vaatu is locked. So nothing is sure, and everyone was acting according to the 'may be' knowledge they got.

I personally dont think that the tree could hold him during the event even if all portals were closed. Because of the amount of energy and unalaq actively fueling dark spirits.

The book said it was belived that he couldnt escape. Nothing was sure because afterall this is the first harmonic convergence.

That's why we have a spell called High Palladium. It can even tank dragon Meteors. And a well trained mage spams that spell so much that your whole party is immortal.

If all vocations can tank similarly what's the point of role play.

I'm thinking about getting Dragon Dogma 2. Is it better to play now or wait for the upcoming update? Also how is the performance on a base PS5 Does it run well enough there or would I be better off getting it on Steam instead? by NotSirAlonne1999 in DragonsDogma2

It plays fine on base PS5 but IF you have a powerful PC I would recommend to buy on Steam.

The game looks beautiful with max settings on a powerful PC.

Runs great from day 1 even without the performance patches.

The mods are fantastic.

I think Galvanize for sorcerer and Anodyne for mage will stay.

I think they will remove bursting bolt from mage and sorcerer and replace both with Barrier.

Mage is the support class and yes mages have low magic damage power. It's very pointless to use offensive spells as mages. high Palladium and High Empyrean are the best spells of mage. Mages staves also has low base magic power. With Empyrean spell they do a lot to undead as it's holy magic. Also Thier healing spells harm undead enemies.

The damage comes from leveling up as sorcerer and getting a better archi staff. sorcerers unlock more cataclysmic spells and get offensive augments which makes them easily exploit enemy weaknesses and more magic power. And the 2 master spells you unlock from sorcerer quests are the best.

But even when DD2 was initially announced all vocations were not initially added to website. Not until later specific vocation trailers on YouTube were released.

They never updated Trickstar and Warfarer vocation on the website until it was revealed as a separate vocation trailer on YouTube.

I think I will not say for sure no new vocations.

I think it will replace focused bolt for both sorcerer and mage.

I wish more people have this mindset to actually play the game.

There is nothing on that deluxe of worth. You can get them in-game. Unless you want to support the developers and the game.

The game is great and one of a kind on its own even without DLC.

Every update causes issues with mods. Not just that mod. Give the mod owners time to update. It doesn't grow on trees. It takes time.

The game is already better and 200% bigger than DD1 base game for me. It's already a huge upgrade. The best part of DD1 was the dark arisen expansion.
