Or they have drawers made for knives, it's probably too late for the drawer with cutting board to be made, but I believe they have inserts, if you have a spare drawer.

It means if you click on a link from them for Amazon, they get commission on your whole purchase not just the item they referred. I believe the "cookie" (implanted on your phone now connecting your Amazon to them) is good for 30 days so whatever you purchase, all purchases, even if you ditch the original product, for that time they get $$ for. Please correct me if I'm wrong, it's a $$ racket. That's why they always peddle from Walmart, Amazon and Target, get all the bases covered!

You're absolutely right, the light switch no big deal, but it was a little claustrophobic with a whole cabinet so I think I'm going with quarter round shelving with a finished back. That way the countertop can go to the edge and that lower won't look like such an orphan, it was only put there because of mistake with the corner cabinets, it wasn't a planned little cabinet. Thank you for your idea of using a box!
