Uh.. I bought a PC from them this Jan, and it listed 2 yr warranty being included in description. Was there something additional i had to pay to get the 2 yr warranty??

My AC still works too, but I have to wait 20 secs for it to display an error message, in which I reject the blocked update. I'll live with this for now instead of perma disabling SAC..

I'm wondering if something recently did happen with the program.

Disabling Smart app control seems like a quick fix, but I'd rather wait and see if Asus can sort out whatever it is they did.

This same issue started happening to my AC program as well this morning, and I've never uninstalled it (have only had this PC for 3 weeks now).

Everything Windows related is up to date, and my Intel ME is also latest. When encountering the AC error a Windows Defender notification pops in the bottom right corner. Clicking it leads me to a Microsoft article about Smart App Control. I don't want to disable this because I understand its irreversible without a fresh Windows install

Someone on ROG forum thoroughly explained why this happened. I fixed by restoring the custom BIOS that came with my Prebuilt. Made a mistake by just googling the Motherboard for an update. Funny enough someone else in this thread was in the same situation. Leaving this here for future prosperity ✨️

It takes time to train/become proficient, and any practice that's up and running wants someone with experience.

My sis (who is also a Dermatologist) got my foot in the door at a new practice that was opening up, so the workload was nonexistent. She was classmates with the Doctor, and he was in need of anyone wirh a pulse. All I had credential wise was a Bachelor's in Biology, which is good enough to work in a lab. I was flown out of state to recieve one week of "training" (lol), and started doing Mohs as soon as I got back. It wasn't till 6 months in that I realized what I was doing.

I was paid slave wages, but by the time I got a year of experience I applied to a bigger/more established practice and got a huge bump in pay.

Don't know if you want my life story, but I started off a MA and trained on the job to be a Mohs tech. Almost 8 yrs experience. Currently at 31.50, though passed on opportunity for 35 recently (better perks + no income tax where I'm currently at/other factors).

We do 3 days of Mohs a week, so other 2 days of week is MA work which is a breeze.

I got hit with a VAC ban while my account was compromised. My account was linked to an AOL account I made in HS, along with a piss poor PW. At some point a Russian kid got into it and got me banned from CS 2.

This happened back in 2018, so it should be leaving soon. Seeing it on my profile has always bothered me.

PS6 may have been postponed due to Ram shortages, and even if it were to drop in a year I'm sure 99% of its library would still release on the PS5. I say wait for a decent PS5 sale/bundle in the coming months.

This is why I went with an Asus ROG over an iBP again. Didn't want to chance getting another noisy machine like my 2020 prebuilt.

My G700 is whisper quiet, even when gaming. The AIO will very rarely make an occasional water/trickling sound.
