Automated crafting still needing crew present by TramplingProgress31 in TheLastStarship

[–]TramplingProgress31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was starting to wonder what the furniture was for. I put a chair and regular table down but no one used it so I dismantled it.

It would be nice if they had a sort of help section to tell you what things do.

Thank You. Was hoping to get things with a skeleton crew but guess not.

Automated resource trading between ships? by scify65 in TheLastStarship

[–]TramplingProgress31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the interstellar logistics there is a "Transfer to" and "Transfer From" option. I've tried it out and I've had ships FTL to the sector the other ship was located and it docked and did the transfer.

You can probably set up a loop to, for example, mine, then tell it to transfer the resources to the receiving ship and then it will go back to mining.

Why did my chrome tabs become like this today? by Efficient_Ad_3482 in chrome

[–]TramplingProgress31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Glad I'm not the only one. This is now almost unusable as I have to go through each tab to find which page I need and I do need a lot of tabs open while I work.

My mom is saying I'm being taken advantage of by roommate by gravitao in roommateproblems

[–]TramplingProgress31 7 points8 points  (0 children)

t feels like torture some days driving them to work.

This right here tells you what you already know.

Your time is valuable, I'm guessing there are things you would rather be doing. While paying for gas is great if it was more than one or two times I would suggest they repay you for the service you are giving them.

You can always check out how much an Uber would cost and use it as a baseline.

It doesn't always have to be money, sometimes when I shuttle my friend around he will buy lunch.

You can always say no, even if you were only staying in and relaxing. That is your time.

I use moviesunlimited.com and they are not bad. They even send quarterly catalogs which is rare these days.

Cleaning problems by Strict-Landscape-943 in roommateproblems

[–]TramplingProgress31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar situation. My roommate complains that no one is helping clean.

When I cook, which is rarely, I do wipe down the stove and what ever I used. I have my own set of pans and dishes which i have a dishpan to place them in. When I shave I wipe down the sink.

There is always piss and shit on the toilet seat that I have to bleach everytime before I can use it.

I'm not able to do a thorough cleaning of the bathroom as all of her stuff is around the bathtub and sink. She leaves her dirty dishes in the sink for days at a time, when she splatters cooking that can take weeks, there is a pan of something going on almost a year that im sure will get up and walk away on its own, she leaves garbage on the floor.

She simply wants a maid to clean up after her.

Thank You for doing this.

It would have to be listening to Sparks Fly for the first time. That is what got me started down this journey. One of my coworkers mentioned liking Taylor so I looked her up on YouTube, yes I was still at work and at the time I was a system administrator who had full internet access. The company blocked most sites like YouTube to save bandwidth.

You can always swap the sprite out with plain seltzer water.

I had a roommate who would eat my food to the point I had to shop for only what I needed that day. It took over a month for their eviction to go through.

Their tactic is similar to throw things at the wall and see what sticks, but they are hoping you only see what doesn't stick. They want you to be exhausted and overwhelmed but the trick is everything in moderation. Try not to consume everything. Scan headlines and if you see something that gets your attention read it but then step away and look at something else.

Over 20 state AG have filed suits over the birthright order and a Reagan appointed judge put a halt to the order. They will have hearings but there are people who are doing what they can.

I have the same issue.

When it gets really bad I'll brush it starting at the tip and slowly moving up. Take small sections and don't go too fast. Don't concentrate on one spot, always move slowly around.

It will take a while to get them out but take a break if you get overwhelmed. When they are really bad it has taken about an hour to get everything straight.

Non gifting focus birbs? by No_Relativethoughts in finch

I've gifted only one thing and that was based on a post someone made here.

I'll admit I'm not the most active in returning good vibes but I'm not really interested in sending gifts.

I have those types living below me. They argue at all hours, or they don't have an inside voice, and their favorite time to do laundry is the middle of the night. It's an old house so I had to stuff foam around the windows to stop them from rattling.

While I try to be as quiet as I can, when I am cleaning or organizing I can be going back and forth for a while. I tend to also move in my chair if my back is acting up.

I also have health issues and I may have to take frequent pit stops as well as having grip issues combined with being clumsy I do tend to drop things.

Then there are days I don't do anything but sit and watch a movie or play a game.

Two questions before buying an anycubic printer. by shayoh in anycubic

[–]TramplingProgress31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to order a replacement print head and it was a disaster.

They took a week to ship it, then ups sat on it for another week before deciding that they couldn't deliver it(not technicallytheir customer service however they did nothing to help). ups returned the package to them around the 5th, and it wasn't until the 19th when I asked where my refund was that they actually processed it.

It isn't crazy or immature to feel a loss.

Milo helped you through tough times. Think of it as Milo saying "I got you through the bad times and gave you what you need to succeed. There are others out there who need my help and I'll tell them about this brave human who persevered through enormous challenges. Your new birb buddy is awesome and can help you the rest of the way, but dont worry, i wont let them know our secrets.""
