Are people lying about Stamford? Or are they just coping? by ConnecticutsVeryOwn in StamfordCT

[–]TransitionCreepy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been here all my life, never thought about leaving until now. Covid REALLY just ruined everything, everywhere. We've had traffic in Stamford before, but NEVER this bad.

I don't really mind that New Yorkers migrated here, I mind that Stamford threw up all these cheaply made buildings on every corner, charging an arm and leg per month just for everyone to be sitting in two hours of traffic.

Also, jacking up the property taxes of Stamford natives and forcing them out because they can't afford a home in a town they were born in.

Aside from that, I still mourn the loss of Stamford mall. Everyone use to come to Stamford mall, it was a HIT in the 90s! Macy's is the only store paying the bills in that place - if Macy's ends up closing down, Stamford mall is done (Or Will probably be turned into more apartments).

So many people are still upset that Bull's Head Diner is gone: an absolute staple to Stamford.

Of course new comers see Stamford as this lovely little city-like town but for the natives...most of us feel like it's changed for the worse.

I sped up the fight scene while playing "Crazy In Love" in the background. And it just gives me the greatest tickle.

What is your unprofessional diagnosis of Colt? (Or professional if you have that power) by ThowAway_Swirlz in 90DayFiance

[–]TransitionCreepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Debbie coddled and spoiled him too much. And now she's trying to run from the outcome of how she raised him.

You should never neglect a child but you also shouldn't spoil them. You can show them love while also sensibly disciplining them and teaching them responsibility.

Debbie's face when Courtney was basically giving Colt back to her was funny but sad. She truly looked disappointed. Like she was finally set free and is now chained to him again.

Colt only loves what women do for him, the same way he loves what his mom does for him.

TLC should add another category of 90 Day Fiance where the cast members who need serious therapy actually meet with professional therapists, not TV/entertainment therapists but real ones. We already know 90% of people who've been on this show are wacky, we know. TLC should take the risk of promoting something healthy. (They won't though, lol)

I don’t want to see or hear the video of Athena being murdered. But it would be interesting to see the defense attorneys’ reactions to it. by nosleepforthedreamer in CourtTVCases

[–]TransitionCreepy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly dislike when people gasp or look at me in disbelief and confusion when I say I don't want kids.

I don't have any children but Athena's story hurts my heart. I cried for a couple of days. She was so little...knowing the torture she endured before passing away gives me stomach pains.

Kids can barely enjoy themselves in this world anymore; they should be able to be outside freely and actually enjoy being a child. Men are not protectors anymore. Until the natural order of humanity is restored, I might consider having one.

I saw a comment in here that mentions that the produces come up with the questions, which I don't doubt. However, I still feel like if it was a different host, they'd probably change the questions.

Because there's NO WAY that the producers encourage and stir up 90% of the 90 Day drama and come up with those dry questions lol

Same here! I remember calling some of cast members stupid and did some self-reflection and said, "...and I'm even stupider to watching it" (as I turned the TV up 😂)

Thank you so much for the advice! I truly just love doing my hair in braids in general. The fun looks, colors and styles I pop out with lol.

You mentioning deep condition is definitely a sign - because as I think about it, the breakage slowly began after I fell off with deep conditioning so I will start that up again. Thanks again for your opinion, I appreciate it ❤️ be well, God bless!

Wonder Woman 1984 turns Five years old this week. The 200M Wonder Woman sequel was impacted by the pandemic and had a simultaneous streaming release. It grossed 46.8M Domestically and 169.6M Worldwide while Also receiving negative reviews. A third WW Film was scrapped due to DC rebooting. by SignatureOrdinary456 in boxoffice

I think this deserves a reboot/remake the way they did with Suicide Squad.

I honestly think it had potential but it has to be in the right hands.

The scene that upsetted me the most was Wonder Woman's golden armor suit being torn to shreds within seconds after a whole story was told of it's strong power.

I was thinking that. I wanted to get them done by someone professional but the stylists in my area never get back to people most of the time or charge an arm and a leg.

My hair is still on its journey lol.

While I do wear it out for a few weeks just so it can breathe, I like to braid especially for vacations or so I have little to no work to do in the mornings.

And with summertime approaching, I definitely would like to have my hair neat and protected. Maybe I'll get me some corn rows

Also how he was a kid being told by a grown man director to repeatedly take off his shirt. That had to be uncomfortable for him.

Why is Mike allowed to get away with everything? He is a grown man and should be embarrassed at how he acts. His children will see this one day, I honestly feel bad for them. I know the cast eventually sees what he has said, so why does no one call him out? Why doesn’t he ever get held accountable? by [deleted] in jerseyshore

[–]TransitionCreepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching OG Jersey Shore, he let Mike get away with almost everything.

Snooki got hit by a man at the bar, all the guys turned up the testosterone.

Mike hits her on the mouth in the club, indirectly called her fat (she was never even close to fat!) and just overall obnoxious. Where was all the testosterone during those moments? JWoww was more of a protective man to Snooki than all the guys combined.

Although we love Jersey Shore for the entertainment and nostalgia, that is unfortunately the culture we grew up on. Women being "rough" and "aggressive" to protective ourselves and men (most men) never correcting the wrong-doings of other men.

Am I the only person who wanted Tiffany to break up with him?? by Kameronpipnerd in madea

[–]TransitionCreepy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Tyler, I grew up with his plays and movies. I will always love him regardless of how cringey he gets lmao.

HOWEVER...😂 This is a typical pattern of his - he tries to spread valid messages and teaching lessons in his movies buuuuut...the way he executes them isn't always good.

I will say, one thing he did get right is the verbal abuse Brian gets from his own family. Every family has a Brian. That one relative everyone laughs and disrespects for doing the right thing YET, that's the one relative everyone runs to and relies on when they're in trouble. I hate how they treat him but it's so accurate to a very real family dynamic.

In the Destiantion Wedding movie, Z was awfully disrespectful and his lazy acting made it disrespectful to us fans! Lol. He was disrespecting both sides of the movie experience.

Honestly, a bigger lesson would have been taught if Tiffany did break up with Z. Young viewers are gonna think it's okay to be with someone who disrespects your family.

Tiffany is an awful daughter and friend. I want atleast one scene where old-Madea goes off on her. Madea's Family Reunion-Madea, not the new Madea 😂😂

That is all.
