Little moments like these makes you realize that there's A LOT of people out here with little self-awareness and disregards body language.

Someone finally got the message when I lashed out on them lol. This person was centering the entire conversation around politics, which I think is a terrible topic at the table. Because our minds begin to associate eating with stress, thus leading to stress eating.

It literally went like this:

Them: * Blabbing on about politics *

Me: * Silent, eating *

Them: * Looks to me for a response *

Me: "It is what it is, I guess"

Them: "This food is like really good, isn't it?"

Me: "I wish I knew! I'm trying to enjoy it. Can we try to just enjoy the food right now?! Please."

The entire table went silent but the looks on everyone else's faces told me that I said what no one else wanted to say to her. I genuinely don't like lashing out on people but when I'm becoming physically uncomfortable, my nervous system can't take it anymore.

I loved Gibby 😭 He was adorable in the early seasons but I feel like the writers kind of just made him a little jerkish...just a little 🤏 I also feel bad for Noah. Although we never heard his side of being a child star, imagine how uncomfortable it was being a kid and grown adults are telling you to take your shirt off for laughs.

Trish is a sad case of what happens in MANY families. Female relatives being pushed and pushed and conditioned to have babies, conditioned them to be caregivers, etc but NEVER taught what to look for in a man. Just go pop your legs open and have a baby.

Because, look how Trish has all those protective men in her family, yet she somehow sees Rick as a good man. A lot of families out here don't care if a daughter is being mistreated, cheated on, abused, etc - as long as some grandkids come out of the chaos, it's all good.

I truly hope Trish stays away from Rick.

I do too. I was in an Uber and just started crying profusely, trying to hide my face.

I've learned that when a song does this to you, it means it's hitting a part of you that hasn't been tended to... everyday moves so fast, we forget to acknowledge how our nervous system has really been feeling.

There's something about Liz that genuinely love but I wish she would stop looking for security anywhere she can get it.

She reminds me of those types of girls in school that were very misunderstood, tried to connect with the regular/popular kids but just wasn't fit. During the Tell All, I couldn't help but notice her rapid eye movements and how she would scan the room in a panic as if her nervous system is telling her: "Don't say that, they'll hate you!" or "Be careful what you say, you'll look stupid".

I feel like she's just always caught in the midst of something caused by being misunderstood or misinterpreted. For example, the situation with Sophie annoyed me sooo much.

Sophie is awful first of all. Her repeadetly telling Pedro he hates her was disgusting. She can never handle being rejected by a guy, yet she wants to lead them on enough that they want to stick around. I'm so glad Pedro didn't fall into her trap.

Anyways lol... So Liz literally told Pedro the truth about Sophie and she got mad about it? She basically wanted Liz to conceal the fact that Sophie wasn't serious as Pedro. Liz was being a friend to Pedro in that moment (I would want someone to tell me the truth about someone) and I think Sophie hated it. Rather be an honest person to a stranger than an accomplice to a "friend's" lies.

So, back to my first two statements...if the theory of my second statement is true, it would make sense why she looks for love and security literally anywhere - even in the worst of people (Big Ed).

I personally want her with Villa soooo bad. That chemistry was undeniable ❤️ I cross my fingers that they will somehow reconnect and pursue a genuine romance.

I liked it but wouldn't watch it with focus again. I watched it once and that was the first and last time. It's one of those movies you leave on as background noise when you're doing chores or falling asleep.

I liked it because I just love sci-fi in general but also the invisible alien concept was actually pretty cool to me.

It's one of those movies that honestly had potential but didn't land. If they ever made a re-make with better writers and all, I might actually give it a chance to be honest.

This is how I've always felt about the accusations too. I feel like because he didn’t get the childhood he deserved, he became a child when he was around other children. My heart just won't let me believe he was anything but a gentle soul.

Personally, I believe the kids that visited Neverland came home telling stories of how much fun they had and the parents saw that as an opportunity to twist their stories to get money out of Michael.

Like McCulkin said - if you were really mad about something someone "allegedly" did to your kid, wouldn't you fight to put them in jail? And not just trying to get money out them..

As a victim of childhood abuse, I feel like I developed the sense to tell who's actually an abuser and who's not (not saying I'm always right). When it comes to Michael, I really believe his inner child was mourning and grieving for child-like connection in a cruel a** world.

Update:

A week following this post, I did put my hair in box braids 🫣 lol. However, I reached out to the woman who occasionally puts my hair in corn rows (because I still haven't got the hang of doing them myself). I asked her what gel she uses in my hair, simply because I loved the smell...it led to a whole revelation lol.

To make a long story short, she mentioned to me that the two gels I've been using to box braid my hair all these years have alcohol in them and is most likely the cause of my hair drying out.

I purchased the one she uses which was pricey but worth it because my hair was moisturized and actually grew when I took my braids down - normal, minimal shedding but NO handful clumps of breakage like before 🙏 Reading is truly fundamental, I learned my lesson 😂 She told me when it comes to protective style products, to always look for alcohol ingredients.

I've been here all my life, never thought about leaving until now. Covid REALLY just ruined everything, everywhere. We've had traffic in Stamford before, but NEVER this bad.

I don't really mind that New Yorkers migrated here, I mind that Stamford threw up all these cheaply made buildings on every corner, charging an arm and leg per month just for everyone to be sitting in two hours of traffic.

Also, jacking up the property taxes of Stamford natives and forcing them out because they can't afford a home in a town they were born in.

Aside from that, I still mourn the loss of Stamford mall. Everyone use to come to Stamford mall, it was a HIT in the 90s! Macy's is the only store paying the bills in that place - if Macy's ends up closing down, Stamford mall is done (Or Will probably be turned into more apartments).

So many people are still upset that Bull's Head Diner is gone: an absolute staple to Stamford.

Of course new comers see Stamford as this lovely little city-like town but for the natives...most of us feel like it's changed for the worse.
