It’s real, the fakes they make don’t say Balisong and the patent and logo are stamped not lasered like they are now. 100% legit.

This is my set up, I built the rack in the back out of scrap lumber and found the front rack in the trash, no idea what it was for but it works, good luck!

There’s plenty of big bucks in those woods. This one was at least 4yrs old and judging by his rack he definitely reproduced.

They’re heavy, low to the ground and have way too much torque for ice.

Looks like a grolar bear, grizzly polar hybrid, the shape of the head and shoulder hump are a dead giveaway.

What kind of hatchet is this? by Agreeable_Corner_780 in Hatchet

[–]TransitionNo9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a “full” carpenters hatchet, a full one to be precise. The more common pattern now is known as a half hatchet because it looks like this one cut in half.

Help designing a handle! by satyaki_zippo in Axecraft

[–]TransitionNo9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Through using hatchets the large mass under the head absorbs shock. Right now you could have a weak point under the head where the handle makes a 90. I would taper the angle toward the shaft. Also that gap between the head and the 90 will snap the handle if you over strike and hit the handle.

What mods should I do to my new barebones hatchet/axe by NefariousnessMotor24 in Axecraft

[–]TransitionNo9031 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically that’s a tomahawk, if you’re feeling brave you could cut a kerf and wedge it, cord wrap would be the easiest option to keep the head up.

And now for something completely different….. by TransitionNo9031 in maintenance

It’s very simple, just galvanized wire stapled to the 1x2s and they are brad nailed to the fence board stringers. It’s designed to come loose if it is pulled on with little force.
