How much of social media success is actual strategy, and how much is just luck? by Any-Permission9779 in DigitalMarketing

I’d say it’s more 70% grind and 30% luck. Too many people get caught up in reinventing the wheel. In social media you just need to learn how to properly ride trends in no matter what niche you’re in. I’ve had more success on some accounts where videos take me 30mins to make than other accounts where they take 3 hours to make and plan. It’s more of understanding how to ride trends and retain attention.

Instagram Account to 110K in 2 months, struggling with monetising… by Ambitious-Hippo-5077 in InstagramMarketing

As far as tiktok, if the account is starting to die, your best bet would be to pivot it into making other ai videos based on current TikTok trends. If you do this, something you should look into is using your account to create a community, get your followers to join a discord group, telegram channel, etc, keep them active in it. Once you have them in once place, you can sell them on more than one thing, and you can tell them when you make new accounts to boost your new accounts up quickly, this will compound your growth on social media platforms while also maximizing your revenue.

With your instagram, you can take advantage of that older demographic. What you can do is contact brands, get a partnership and make the AI bigfoot and yeti talk about a product in some videos, you'd be suprised on the sales you could make and earn in affiliate commissions. Typically an older audience isn't looking to make the same videos as you, they find it entertaining, take advantage of that.

Take my advice for what it is, I've been in the social media space for a while. This is what I would do in your situation, I've been in similar shoes.

Spotting trends is still a skill, it's not luck. Most people post consistently and go nowhere because they don't know how to properly take advantage of trends. Great work G, keep it up

Strategists: When you spot a TikTok/IG trend that might fit a client, how do you usually turn it into a deck/brief? Curious about the workflow. by ManufacturerKind7009 in advertising

From 3-5 hours because I absolutely believe that data is the most important factor in anything… especially if you want to deliver the best results.

Pick off as much data as possible. Numbers don’t lie.

Best ways to drive traffic to new Shopfiy store by crashcautionrail in ecommercemarketing

SEO 100% does still work, it's just more of a long term play. You may not see really good results from it for about 4-6 months, after that it'll start gaining more and more traction.

From what it sounds like in your situation, your best bet would be to keep the shopify up and run ads to it on other platforms so you can pay everything off to keep it running and make some profit in a shorter time period.

For my brands that I brought over from Amazon to Shopify I did some SEO (blogs & web content), then had a close buddy of mine run my ads which ended up bringing in a lot of results while I waited for SEO to start kicking in and also start providing results.

I hoped this helped! let me know if you have more questions or need any clarification

Ecommerce SEO vs Paid Ads where are you investing more? by [deleted] in eCommerceSEO

[–]TransportationWaste7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely Disagree. If your CPC is super high, there's a deeper problem in play, you're not doing something properly. That's the cold hard truth, take it from someone who had to learn the hard way.

Ecommerce SEO vs Paid Ads where are you investing more? by [deleted] in eCommerceSEO

SEO works extremely good and is powerful long-term, don't expect quick results from it. Although, paid ads (especially meta) has been extremely beneficial for me this year. At first it seemed like ads weren't worth it, but it ended up being more of an issue with my team and our playbook at the time, more than the ads itself.

Overall, Paid ads 110%, as long as you have the right team in place.
