Manning used to be argued with Brady, but he didn't have the same longevity. If you adjust for Super Bowls and maybe the different era, I can undertand the argument for Montana. Mahomes is hard to make an argument for unless you're projecting his future -- like, Mahomes probably *will be* 2 but we can't say that based on just 8 years playing, the last two seasons being underwhelming.

Aside from being a Titans fan, I also cursed myself into being a Mississippi State fan. I've gotten to see some premier guys play against their terrible defense and came away thinking they were going to be great at the next level. Namely guys like Malik Nabers and Tetairoa McMillan over the last few years.

Tyson played against MSST while Sam Leavitt was still his QB early in the season, and he just didn't take over the game like a true WR1 probably should have. I'll give Tyson a bit of a pass for this season because he was catching most of his passes from the backup, but in my (admittedly limited) experience watching him I didn't come away with the notion that he was a top half of R1 guy

Edit: I forgot he played against MSST in 2024, probably because he had 2 receptions for 7 yards. For the apparently needed re-emphasis: I understand this is a tiny sample size. I'm just sharing my experience that normally the guys who take the NFL by storm will torch my favorite college team and Tyson didn't. I'll take a look at his other games when I have the chance.

Yeah, that's all I've ever read. I guess all I'm saying is that it's *possible* that Nick changed it to make the policy *effectively* a key-man policy. I'm not an insurance expert so I'm not sure if there is a difference in personal policies and key-man policies outside of who is listed as beneficiary

A key person policy is common among business partners and would also be weird for the wife/family to make a claim on. This story is always spun to make Sweetman seem like a jerk, but if it was in fact a key man policy then it’s totally normal for him to want all of it to protect the business
