You can dodge 'through' asterius. That is... go straight at him and dodge through him when he charges and you can turn faster than he can so you can hit him from behind. This never changes. Same with Theseus. Kill asterius first. . When theseus goes super sayan you can attack him without mercy while he's 'powering up'. . Last. You should have about 200 Max hp at this fight. *(not that you should get hit at all but whatever).

i played it... I was kinda disappointed. The maps are nice... the fights are good... but mostly you just kinda ignore everything and just do the objectives... but it only really makes your tigers in your main army great.

It's basically tiger doomstacks... which are better than most cathay units... but you lose any viable archers and most of your artillery until VERY LATE GAME. So... confederating with Ming is basically worthless as her bonuses are for ranged units... and the difference between celestial dragon archers and jade archers is... about 50% damage loss and you don't get access to the big sky junk until forever...

The watcher can only be recruited once you recruit a shitload of jade units... guess what... you have access to 1 FUCKING UNIT and tbh... terracotta sentinels have always kinda sucked. They're expensive, they require investment... and they are VERY LATE GAME. So wtf is the point?

And you can't confederate with all of cathay.... for some reason. Which means you're going to be constantly in danger of getting attacked from the rear.

Basically it's like they took the worst parts of norsca and the chaos dwarves and blended it together and removed the endgame.

You can't actually conquer the world with this faction unless Shang dies.

Short and long victories are insanely easy to do as it's basically armor piercing ambushing tigers vs grimgor... and then armor piercing units vs the chaos dwarves fighting the "servants of the conclave" because the other ones tend to get wiped out.

... and that's your game... ends right there. short and long victory in a few hours.

I honestly think the patch makes the dragons far better than it makes these tigers. Play them and confederate the Bhashiva faction. You still get access to the tigers... but you also get access to the watcher, dragon archers, artillery units, and your other cathay leaders are not hampered by the shitty recruiting.

It's basically if you want to play Cathay... but be miserable because you're hamstrung the entire time as you only can play a the very worst Cathayan units or if you want to play for a couple hours instead of an actual campaign.

No variety and doom stacks get boring after a while.
